It's just my opinion. I think partly because ChangGe is his ex lover's child, ChangGe wasn't close with her father who was always not around and I sense she is afraid of her father so LSM became a father figure for her. Her mom also let her roam around freely. ChangeGe is more tomboyish, very intelligent and showed interest in learning and martial art than needlework. So I guess that's why LSM taught her and not LY.

ChangGe called out AS in her dreams. The girl told ChangGe she should go out and walk and up about instead of coup up in the room all the time. No good for her, that's why ChangGe is having nightmare. She asked who ChangGe called out in her dreams: "Is it her pet monkey? Oh it is your pet bird." ChangGe then said AS is her ex comrades. The girl said "If he is your comrades, why didn't he come to see you. How can he be that?" ChangGe replied : " I did something bad to him. He don't come and see me, hates me. Then my heart will feel less guilty." That's the rough translation.

Yes that's what I thought so when he said that. He said it with such a tint of sadness for her. He took everything away from her in her life and yet she still had to save him at critical moment. He felt her conflicted emotions having to shoot that arrow to save him.

I think it is just SheEr part. I think she was his camp slave for many years. He fell in love with her and is obsessive with her. The great khan gave Mimi away to Eagle camp as a reward to get rid of her and away from SheEr.

Hahaha...SheEr said ChangGe already died 3x.

@chkn_sld ChangGe has changed a lot. We can see it in her eyes. If we were to back track how she looks on 1st ep with how she looks today ... her eyes tell a story. Gone were the laughter, carefree and liveliness in her eyes. The eyes we see now are sad, lonely and tired ones.

Wow! Today's episodes so exciting and heart pumping moments.
Today we saw AS's nanny who watches him from afar.
In later preview ep, where AS were so angry and want to kill SheEr ... SheEr killed his nanny, thats why AS were so upset and crying.

The arrow shooting scene - wow! Took my breathe away ... the way they shot that scene is beautiful ... they really create that atmosphere. The trembling fear in ChangGe being the target and the relief she felt after each shot was very well acted by Dilraba. I shake and tremble in fear with her ... I would have peed in my pants in her situation. I thought I felt her jello legs too after AS untie her.

Did you all feel that emotional electricity charge exchange between AS and ChangGe? Wow ... so intense and emotional eye contact.

So Mimi is SheEr crush and love interest. I was wondering why he got all upset like a jealous boy upon seeing ChangGe cuddling and caressing Mimi. If looks could kill, ChangGe would have been dead. Lol ... he was definitely stabbing a thousand knives into ChangGe from his eyes.

There's a preview of a future episode that i saw ...looks like the young guard of governor who escaped with the baby and old man ... he was tortured and tasked to kidnap ChangGe. He drugged her.

Yes he even sent his man to spy on what happened to ChangGe. When it was reported that ChangGe was killed by Ashile Sun clan, he was kinda disappointed and sad that ChangGe life ended this way. I would love to see his face when he realised that ChangGe is still very much alive. Kekeke

In one interview Dilraba was talking about the young actor playing Ah Dou ... that at the beginning he was around Dilraba's shoulder and within weeks he shot up to as tall as Dilraba. She was laughing saying wow ... his growth spurt is huge and how amazing it is to see kids development stage.

Yes agree on that. She cannot expect AS to defy the great Khan order. She forgot that if she were Tang wedging war at Khan, would she defy the Emperor's order not to go on war? That's where her logic is one sided. She only think of her Tang people but not AS side too. That's where she will later grow and mature and realised her mistakes. For now she is still that idealistic princess.

I guess her character development will come once she develops a love and attached to the AS clan/troop and when lots of them were killed during war (perhaps she betrayed AS to save the Tang people), perhaps that's where she realises losses are on both sides and not just Tang people whom she loves. That's just my guess.
