Leo made a Vblog of his cycling trip to another city (I think) and a long the way asked a guy to help him take a pic. The guy didn't recognise Leo at all. He was too busy checking out the equipment Leo has on his bike (I think. He was interested in something that Leo has). He then realised it was Leo whom he met that day when he saw that same bike on weibo. Lol
I don't want to throw shades at Marcus Sim but although he's saying it's not Dilraba's fault, the way he worked…
Which drama or film doesn’t use double stunt even for simple stuff like just simply the bare back of an actress or actor. This is called haters or anti or opponents of star nit picking for sake of nitpicking because they couldn’t find anything else to nitpick about the actress or drama. Why don't they view frame speed at that speed on the 3 main leads of this drama?
I agree. There are many people on rating sites who give low ratings on small factors. EX: "Ugh no chemistry between…
Oh yes ... no negative remarks on Seven and Weilong. Age gap wasn't even brought up during its run neither did it happen with Legend of Fei - no age hatred or remarks on ZYL and WYB. I watched Legend of Fei and we can really tell it has the vibes of sister brother chemistry than lovers. And it is obvious that WYB looks younger than ZYL plus theres no way ZYL could pass off as 15 to 16 year old. ZYL aged a bit in Legend of Fei ... but this is understandable given that she just had a baby. Very tiring to look after a baby and women definitely aged during this period. Nothing against her.
I guess people hate people who are gorgeously beautiful (but no fault of theirs, they just happen to strike lucky and have the right genetic and DNA make up) and seems to have it all. But we also do not know what kind of life they truly lead. We are looking at them thru a rosy tinted glass ... all glassy and fine ... compared to our own life.
The people pitting the couples against each other makes no sense. Everyone should just be happy they exist together…
Ashina She'er is such a cutie in real life. He shyly said in one of the interview that he hope to act with Dilraba one day. And his character has to smack her right on her cheek like a man. Lol
I agree. There are many people on rating sites who give low ratings on small factors. EX: "Ugh no chemistry between…
Lol ... some even left remarks that Dilraba is ugly and an old hag. :O They must have super low self esteem to make that kind of remarks. They should look at themselves in the mirror first before making such remarks because they are obviously saying or feel that way about themselves.
If they think our OTP age gap is indecent, they should check out the recent drama "The Rational Life" ... the age gap is something for them to go "oh .. my". Anyway recently the Noona Donsaeng love drama is in the rage/trend so no big deal. If they can have 30+ & 40+ actors romancing an actress 10 to 20 years their junior, I don't see why can't we have an older actress romancing a younger partner. Would we have the same perception if the gender order of society is different? I mean what if we were to be brought up with a mindset that it is norm for older women to marry younger men but not older man to marry younger women. Then we don't be having this annoying unfair remarks.
I completely agree with you. This has actually become one of my favorite C-drama! I love the strong female lead…
I love this drama. Both couples are great. Don't understand why people are pitting main OTP with 2nd OTP. They both have their own story to tell and characters development. Their love story is also different. One is more like hero save damsel in distress kind of love: the strong protect the weak ... an old fashion love story. The other love story is more based on admiration, respect and love each other's intelligence. Both couples acted so well in their characters. They own their characters and are in no way in competition with each other characters. All 4 characters have different personality so how to compare. One can only compare if all characters have the same personality (ie same role played by 4 different people) , then we can say who is able to bring out what in that personality. Every actors and actresses have their own interpretating of the character. One may bring out certain nuances that another actor might have missed out and vice versa.
Why people has to make degratory remarks on main OTP while praising heaps on 2nd OTP? I have never seen so much hateful remarks poured onto main leads in any drama even when the ML or FL were bad in acting (I can name a few) before. And I am amazed people just rate it down for sake of rating it down. It's really an insult to the whole drama set team.
I cannot comprehend how the rating now has gone down to 8.2 - 8.3 for such a wonderful drama with a damn good acting casts even the support casts are great. I can name a few idol drama that is not even worth a high rating of 8.5.
I am just so sad that this drama is not given rightful rating as it deserves.
Well...so far so good but I won't give 10 or 9 to this drama. I love Hou Duo and LeYan developing relation but…
Well, she was taught since little by her uncle and master on art of war and she wasn't as sheltered as her cousin. She went out often in disguise as a boy/man. She was only 15 so what do we expect of a 15 - t9 be suddenly as wise as an old soul? If that happened, then it is an unbelievable story. Of course she is going to behave like any rash 15 year old whose witness her whole family got massacred by the man she so loved and worship as an uncle. Imagine if your family was murdered like that, wouldn't you want and hell bent want to kill that guy too. But during this crisis, she is still able to think on her feet and not crying in distress or being totally helpless. Yes she is fortunate to meet Ashil Sun by chance. He admired him as a guy first and he helped her a little within his ability without betraying Khan. This drama is about the development of ChangGe, hence the title.
Don't want to pit two queens against each other etc etc, but Dilraba pulls off her youthful character more convincingly…
Simply because she is naturally gorgeous with a great body, a great personality and talented. She can literally do the S curve. The whole package that most of us don't have. Kekeke
Well...so far so good but I won't give 10 or 9 to this drama. I love Hou Duo and LeYan developing relation but…
The mom forced ChangGe out if house to another residence to save her. She knows the Crown Prince and the Princes will be assassinated by the uncle and so will she too. She doesn't want ChangGe to die with her. ChangGe ran back home is because she saw that the carriage is not going to the direction of the residence she is supposed to go to and suspected that something is not right.
Upon reaching her home, no servants greeted her nor in the garden but blood splattered everywhere. From the way blood was splattered, she could visualised what happened. She ran to find her mother only to see guards rounding up the servants and taken as prisoners. From where she hid herself, she saw her uncle coming out of her mother's quarters with blood stain on his hands, sword and armour. Judging from that, anybody would be convinced that her uncle killed her mother. (We do not know if he had killed her or she committed suicide. What is strange is that the dagger ChangGe gifted her uncle was found on the floor where the large pool of blood was - we presumed that her mother was killed on that spot)
There was a power struggle between the Crown Prince and the uncle. It's either crown prince or the uncle will die ... depends on who acted and kill who first. The uncle killed her father and all her brothers on that day at Xuanwu Gate. You can read about this historical incident on the "recent discussion " post. A poster put it up there for everyone to read and have better understanding of the incident.
The crown prince was betrayed by his most trusted aid. He is the one who saw ChangGe in room and wanted to kill her off but was stopped by the nanny who sacrificed herself.
ChangGe stole the royal seal so as to create difficulties fir the uncle. But along the way, she was made to realise that the seal can't command an army. The army only listen to their General. Ah Dou though young is not stupid. He is quite smart. Ah Dou has proven to her that he is quite trustworthy. She didn’t manipulate the men, she showed them that sge is a capable strategist. The Governor trusted her because she has passed the test that they set her up for. She can see big picture and able to forsee what happened next. She didn’t lose the war. The Governor surrender the city in exchange of his head to the Khan for the security and safety of the people. ChangGe don't agree with the Governor decision but the Governor has already strike a deal with Ashil Sun. The Governor asked ChangGe to take care of his family before committing suicide. The Governor and his trusted aides know ChangGe is Princess Yongning. ChangGe was tasked to present the Governor head to Ashil Sun. She only knew the real identity of Ashil Sun then. She felt totally betrayed. Ashil Sun took ChangGe as his slave in exchange for sparring the lives of the people in the city.
The people in the city didn’t know the story behind it but just assumed that ChangGe betrayed the Governor. In the meantime, ChangGe has arranged for Governor daughter to be taken care of by the Governor loyal guard and Adviser.
I don't even see ZLS fans making any trouble, are you paid by the director to create a fanwar cause you are trying…
If everyone were to take time to take a good look at all the wuxia and fantasy wuxia drama, none of the drama like Joy of Life, Princess Agent, Song of Glory, Rebel Princess, Untamed, Nirvana, Journey of flower, Legend of Fei etc has cast that look like the age of the characters they played. So stop fussing n criticising and complaining over the age part and how she doesn't look like a guy. I can also name all the dramas where actresses doesn't even pass off as a guy in the drama and they all also have eye make up and lipstick on with very fine arching brow n bust sticking out ever so clearly, small n slender like a girl.
It's getting pretty tiresome to hear it again and again. Can we just enjoy this drama like we enjoyed Nirvana, Joy of life, Princess agent etc.
Them turning fights into manga totally ruins everything. The cast looks famous, the show doesn't look budget...…
I actually enjoy the mix now. Love the manga scenes - so beautiful artwork. This was also filmed during pandemic. I'm just happy that we get to enjoy this beautiful drama.
