The Wolf was much better IMO, mostly because of Darren. I'm on episode 16 here and I am feeling the drag and it's…
In the wolf, all the characters are supposed to be young age too. None of the actors looked like the age of their characters.
In Joy of Life, none of the actors look like the age of their characters and no one is complaining nor is bothered or keep reminding themselves that these characters are supposed to be in their teens. Everyone enjoyed the drama as per it is and their beautiful acting.
The way Sun treats Chang Ge is truly heartwarming. Seems cold, but actually really cares, action speak louder…
Even MuJin was jealous. Lol He mumbled: "How come you never treat me this kind or warm?" (when Ashil Sun told him to arrange a single room for ChangGe)
"So late at night, what's with all that skinship," (when he saw Ashil Sun carrying ChangGe into her room)
The hair is 100 percent manhua accurate. It doesn't matter how annoyed some people are, it's following the source…
One of the lady interviewed (I don't know who she is but I guess iteitger producer or script writer) said ... Dilraba's mole on the exact spot is like fate or destiny that she is for that role. Even the director said, when he first saw Dilraba, he was shock how similar she looks to the manhua ChangGe character. It's like the author drew ChangGe from Dilraba.
Actually if you have watched the UnTamed, Xiao Zhan's character has them as well. They say for his character Wei…
And we don't see people complaining about their 2 strand nor that they don't look "not of age" but clearly a guy in their 20s. In fact they love these guys with that style. But it's on Dilraba so they don't like it. If it is on LYN or Leo, doubt they would criticise it to this point. Basically they just have to criticise everything about Dilraba for this role from hairstyle to her dress showing her boobs to how she walks etc, for the sake of criticising her. I have seen lots of less believable actress cross dressing as a man in wuxia or fantasy wuxia drama and people have no problem with the FL simple because they like the FL or is their favourite actress.
This is crazy, but why are people complaining about her 2 strands of hair? I love that look. Most men have them,…
Yep. They just want to find something to criticise about her and the drama that she is the main lead, that's all. If they had bothered to read or look up, they would have realised why the director and the producers gave Dilraba that look and hairstyle n why there's no other FL considered for ChangGe's role but Dilraba.
Hahaha ...Dilraba in her serious take and the actor blurt out "You teach me how to save him? How to save him? The director don't allow me to save him." Hahaha https://youtu.be/y5CWZ8erEfc
Ouch! That hurts. I'm sure he will sport a big bruise the next day. Poor Liu Yuning. https://youtu.be/l7dJ5W34mT4
Luckily they film this during summer. Imagine if it is done in autumn. Brrr In any case, poor ZLS ... the water looks yuky n she said the water is very salty (if I heard it correctly) https://youtu.be/X3dBnwhjINE
got to say Leo looks super good in his Qaghan outfit? i love his look in the white armour at the Shuozhou city…
Lol ... he look damn fine n cool in that suit but in real life during filming, he was literally dying from heat, sweating under it and get rashes from the fur
Some of these people commenting are prob 14 year old so they don't know anything lol
Hahaha ... yeah in that drama ML is 18 years older than ZLS and people were wooning over their chemistry. And in Count your lucky stars, ML is a good 20 years older than FL. If it was reverse, they would be puking buckets and calling the actress a cradle snatcher, a cougar. That's how double standards our society is.
ChangGe is very athletic + a great deal of stress. So it is possible for her to only have her 1st period at 15. Plus all the food she ate is premium quality food. Unlike food of today, filled with chemicals n hormones induced.
As for hairstyle, they follow the hairstyle as per in the manhua. If you find it awful, blame it on the author who drew it like that.
Accuracy of history? This is a made up story so it doesn’t have to be true to history or else this won't be a manhua drama but a documentary series.
As for looks of actress, Dilraba looks exactly the same as when she was 19. In a lot of C drama, a lot of actors and actresses who play the role of 15 - 20 years old in costume drama are all in their mid or late 20s to 30s with a few exceptions who are in their 40s.
The reason why you are not buying it is because you are watching it with a biases view of the actors real age and no cp feel because you know their age gap. However if it is the other way around, you won't say the same if the guy is older than the actress like LS & LYN or Wallace Chung & Seven (in The Sword & the Brocade) - they don't even look 15 and mid 20s. If we do not let ourselves be drawn into the story, we will always be critical of any drama we watch even if the drama is good, we can still fault it.
ChangGe is not a dreamy and delicate character like LeYan. Her personality is quite tough and similar to Ashile Sun. To win ChangGe's heart, he has to be worthy of her admiration...hence Shuyu has no chance to begin with as he is a wimp. He is just a good buddy to her. So if ChangGe looks at AS with a dreamy look now, it will be so strange and out of her character. We can see that AS eye is full of admiration for ChangGe and even crushing on her because this lady got guts like a real man and intelligent like him. Later, we will see the change in ChangGe towards Ashile Sun when she realised Ashile Sun protected her numerous times. We can see the shift of look in her eyes when she look at Ashile Sun.

Love the arrow shots coming out behind him at the last moment.
Dilraba is so goofy here by herself. Who is the kiddo here? Leo or Dilraba?
Now we know why Leo said she is like a kid off camera. Hahaha

Here's Dilraba being a mosquito magnet. Lol ... she said " *spsst*spsst* Go die!*

She has this beautiful voice that suits ChangGe. I guess they feel that a girl should have a more girly voice.
