I think it's because after his father became successful as an imperial officer, he ditch GQF mother n marry his current wife. GQF mother is Minister Xiao official first wife before he divorced her to marry the current. It seems GQF so called Uncle Qi has been grooming him n feeding him stories about his father Minster Xiao and to bring him down for his own agenda.

I personally think Uncle Qi is in cohorts with Commissioner Lei (who GQF wants to topple) as he kept side track GQF and delay GQF from bringing Commissioner Lei down. I hope GQF keeps copy of the evidence.

I don't think Minister Xiao is in cohorts with Commissioner Lei as Uncle Qi said do. If Minister Xiao is in together with Lei guy, why would his father sent a gift n a letter to soothe Lei guy n thanking him for looking after GQF. And Lei guy wouldn't even dare to touch GQF from day one.

He is funny indeed. I remember watching one of his LiveStream on YouTube. He shared a funny incident on air. That he called up YCY and told her that proudly that he got a sing an OST for her drama. Later that evening, his manager/staff told him that they made a mistake. That OST he sang was not YCY drama but another drama. LYN called YCY back n was so embarrassed about it and told her it wasn't her drama n his staff misinformed him. YCY then replied "Ok. I understand. " This makes LYN go panic "Understand? Wait ... What did you understand?" 🤣🤣🤣 .... A few days later, LYN got a call from the producer of YCY drama to sing an OST for them. 🤭🤭🤭

LYN also shared another story that one day YCY was walking down a street and saw a candy stall... on display there were a lot of stars name ... so YCY asked the candy man for a favour and make names of her colleagues to put on display too ... she asked the candy man to make Joseph n LYN name. 🙂

I do enjoy the drama ... just the editing of music is not synchronising her playing so it's very jarring and making it looks so fake. Unfortunately it did take away a small enjoyment of watching her plucking those strings n music. It's not once but whenever she plays it. Wish the editor could pay more attention to this small detail so that viewers can appreciate more those scenes because the music is beautiful.

Ok ... i have a small nitpick on the way Jelly Lin was fake playing the Pipa (I think it is PiPa) ...the way she was handling it like she was playing a guitar 😅🙄😵😵😵😵 n she don't even try to fake play like someone who is the famous pipa player. It is so obviously she can't play at all and it just ruin the enjoyment of make believe.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ...I can think of several actresses who were paired up with an actors who are married with kids as their ML incl the recent FL in WGTW n she was once paired with someone who is old enough to be her father.

LYF doesn't need to rid on any actor to get traffic or be famous. She is already very famous in her own rights! She does more films than drama series. We are lucky to have her in this drama or else we don't get to see her on TV. Chen Xiao is a great actor who can match her acting abilities. He nailed his role very well. So did LYF.

LYF beauty is very alluring. When QPanEr was tricking n put on a seduction show at the con man husband of Song YinZhang, wow ... LYF is so beautiful and seductive n sexy as hell. Now I can understand why Song HS fell hard for her after their movie collaboration.

He definitely will not let his father dictate his marriage. I think PanEr father was innocent n got sacrificed in royal politics.

If you have read some background about her, you would admire her for her courage n hardwork and maturity. She is not a privilege kid who got acting classes, singing lessons etc before she enter the Produce 101. She cried ever so often because she was scared or whenever she has anxiety. After the contest, she works very hard to learn n improve herself. She is very humble and straightforward person.

That's a horrible statement from you when you do not know her. How would you feel if someone said you slept your way to where you are when it is not true.

One is a privileged kid who can take acting classes while the other is from a poor farming background who has to work odd jobs to survive like every poor people in China.

Yang Chao Yue did the stunt herself ... they did many takes on that. Not easy to slide head down ... it's hard even for a soldier to do this ... what more for a girl without any training. 👏👏👏
