Yes ... the getting to know the neighbours is lacking here. It's as if they already know each other...whereas in S 1... AnDi slowly got to know the girls. And S1 ... the characters of the girls are a lot more interesting. The most interesting characters of S1 is AnDi n crazy XiaoXiao. These 2 characters really gel the 5 girls together n the drama.

Here in S3 ... these new set of characters are lacking in harmony n gel factor. In fact, the character Zhen Zhen can be excluded n the drama still works with the 4 of them.

I just thought of an actress who would suit the character Zhenzhen than Maggi. Wang Xiao Chen would have been more ideal here. She has the presence n elegance, maturity yet can also gives off a carefree aura whenever needed as well as the aura of a rich kid/silver spoon kid without being snobbish looking.

Watched this up to 5 episodes.
Of all the characters, I find zhu he and chui hui are most interesting. Character Zhen zhen supposed to be worldly wealthy girl and expert in her field ... but this actress lacks the ompf screen presence that make us feel she is the wealthy worldly girl. Min hong is super irritating character as someone who thinks she knows everything and better than anyone ...she butts in and say what she thinks is correct without much thoughts or knowing the full story. Zhi Heng character is a mystery ...so far this actress carries an elegance in her dressing and the way she walks n she has screen presence of a rich n successful woman.

To me Zhenzhen background is supposed to be like a mesh up of AnDi and Xiao Xiao but Maggi is so lacking in both on screen. She doesn't comes off "wow" ... she comes of as someone super ordinary ... not remarkable.

ML rejected FL because he thought only girls with same level of intelligence as him would fit him and will have same goals and interest ... thus the relationship will sustain in long terms. However he was young then n didn't take into consideration of feelings and relationship involved in a boy/girl relationship. He only thought of intellectual level. He felt QJJ wasn't his level of intelligent without really knowing her.

I seriously want to smack the mother for attacking WYW like that. Her mother feels that her daughter doesn’t know what love is nor is capable of loving someone. The way the mother is guarding her daughter is way too possessive. Her daughter clearly told WYW that she knows he is trash but she still loves him because he makes her feel loved even though he was just using her as ATM.
