I dropped this and wrote about it because people who are considering whether to watch this (or any drama) have…
Aren't the US people supposed to support freedom of speech? I keep noticing that the people on mdl who keep saying others what to do with their lives, what to write and what not to write are terrifyingly often happen to be from the country, which is supposed to support freedom and tolerance of other opinions π€π€π€ Janec wrote: "Last time I checked, we did not live in a world of dictatorship, where there is only one opinion, that of our fuhrer." Apparently it's not true for the US and its citizens π€£π€£π€£
The actress is a bad one. Same skills in other dramas.
I kinda liked her in Unchained love. Maybe because her character there is one of the most likable female character in c-dramas that even the actress's acting couldn't spoil it for me. And I really liked the drama, very funny. She did something weird with her eyes though when the character was supposed to be thinking or scheming π
But...she's been the one trying to trick him on purpose? If anything she should apologize to him...
Would you kneel down for smth your father did? WTH? I would even understand the responsibility of parents for their children and their deeds, but not vice versa.
He onli lied to himself, he knows she is not her grandmother. Anyway if you want to know if SY killed him, no…
I watched 24 episodes and in the last two he seemed pretty convinced that ZY is her, whether he is lying to himself or not. Do you remember the number of the episode when he stops "lying to himself" and accepts that his beloved is really gone?
Are there any good dramas about mermen, preferably where they are MLs? (Not the Blue whisper, don't like RJL).
Also are all merfolk in dramas only fall in love once in their lifetime or is it a thing only in this drama? Though I guess in c-drama almost every main character share this trait, merfolk or not π π€£π
Can anyone spoiler me few things, please? π Will somehow Yuan stay alive/resurrect? Which episode will he find out that that Zhu Yan is not his beloved?
Some people downrated it on purpose because they are jealous of Xiao Zhan's talents & popularity. πππ
Well if it's a public forum and people can "rant how much they want" then I'm also in my rights to "rant" about your ranting. And of course you completely ignored my second paragraph, which is an answer to your questions here. I'm too tired with the constant paranoia here in the comments, I can no longer ignore it.

I don't think that people should be obsessed with rating too much. Especially, to the point when they go and check the ratings of the other ongoing dramas and then rant about it in the comments. Haters and stans are giving TLP 1s and 10s, but I'm pretty sure that when the drama is over, unbiased people will give it more 8-9s and the overall rating will be higher than now. There is no point to pay too much attention to the ratings of the ongoing dramas because it only represents the battles between haters and fans and has zero objectivity.
Please remember to not engage with the naisayers... there's gonna be fans of yet another drama pissed off, coming…
Stop generalising please. Haters gonna hate and fans of other dramas are rarely to blame. Or if this "yet another drama" has "naisayers" in the comments, then are they fans of TLP according to that sort of logic? I can only guess about which drama you are hinting, but there are a lot of unbiased multifans who enjoy watching different dramas and it's not nice to read stuff like that. Currently I'm watching TLP and I liked it from the very first ep. Then I'm going to start "yet another drama" and I hope to enjoy it as well. And I already enjoy its comments section way more. Yes there are a lot "naisayers" there too, maybe even more, but at least no one is blaming fans of other dramas in there ...
OK, starting episode 1, 2 minutes in (lol): hold on, hold on, so the mlβs family killed the whole flβs family,…
I guess that's why it was so dangerous for the emperors to leave anyone alive. I used to think it was so severe to punish the whole family so that everyone would fear to betray the emperor because it would destroy not only them, but also their families. Now I've realised it was not just that, but also so that no one will be alive to revenge the deadπππ. Stupid boy signed his family's death sentence when saved Anle...

2)Did the emperor know they were actually not guilty (if they were not)?
3) Who is the main villain and who framed her family?
