Luo Ben was holding her ID card when she left it in his car in the 1st ep. It said 1987 year of birth. But maybe there is something wrong here coz the actrice is 5 years younger then her character then and usually its the other way around. But if both main characters are in their mid-thirties I'm even more impressed, it's so unusual for c-drama. There are so many things about LCR that make it different from anything else I saw in c-dramas.

For me her "stiffness" is a breath of fresh air after all the naive and hysterical FLs in other dramas, I hope she doesn't change too much. Though of course she is a bit cold and distant now and I'm sure she'll get warmer in the future. Probably something tragic happened in her past and made her that way, I'm sure it's gonna be explained. I also liked Luo Ben's sister. She seems nice and it's also very unusual for c-drama to have a mute character. So in many aspects 2 out of 3 main females of this drama are destroying the stereotypes about typical FLs in C-Dramas. If you call eating 40 dumplings late at night being strict with one's diet lol. He eats A LOT. It's just his slim nature, he can't do much about it. Only extensive exercises might help, but it takes lots of time plus he had some serious injuries so he probably couldn't exercise that much. I read a melon a week or two ago that he is being extra heavy on food lately: eating 4 times a day with huge dinner portions. Personally, I believe all that. He seems very sincere each time he is being asked about his weight. Any person in his place would have been so tired of all the weight talk that they would have already gain some kilos, if only they could. Apparently, he just can't. I even envy him a bit.

I don't find it strange at all. BL dramas are very popular, so actors who perform in them usually become very well recognized, get profitable contracts and more interesting parts in dramas. Besides, for many actors it's also a way to show their talent playing someone so far from who they really are. For example, Tom Hanks and Antonio Banderas in "Philadelphia". Both had been praised for their performance. Tom Hanks got an Oscar for his part in this film. And he is not gay, nor was he dying from HIV. That's called acting. BL actors might be gay or bi and that OK, but if they are, it's not because they were in BL dramas, it would be a coincedence and nothing more.

I like both ML and FL and I know that both of them only said nice things about each other. So I guess the only people who spread negativity are those who want to hurt this drama or even stop it from airing. Maybe they are not even BL fans or LYX fans, but fans of other celebrities or paid haters pretending to be toxic fans. How come people still get provocated so easily and start hating a celebrity or ALL of his/her fans just because a few of them (or pretending to be them) wrote something bad about their favs? I feel sorry for you. Yes, "The Untamed" didn't have the biggest bigbudget or the greatest CGI, but it had more than ust a publicity. It deserves all of its fame and maybe even more. The music, the cinematography, the costumes, the story itself and of course Xiao Zhan's acting gave "The Untamed" greatness and heartbreaking beauty, made it a true and timeless masterpiece. So again, I feel sorry for you, if you can't see how wonderful and great it is Just because of a few bad CGI scenes or not the most expensive decorations. You must be lacking something in your heart and soul, poor thing 😪
