i would have prefered HJP as well, but her choosing dosan would have been fine if the execution of it supported by a strong plot made sense lol.

there many series where the SL get a happy or satisfactory ending without getting the girl..you know

the series ratings went out like the finale- weak. Usually final episode of a show score the highest ratings, for SU to not be able to get that, says alot about how the audience felt about the show. If you compare ratings to records of youth- another TVN netflix drama, SU was meh

uhh..another peeved- the bromance, partnership and just out right funny/hilarious moments we could of had with dosan/jipyeong (and the rest of the dosan gang) would have been legendary. The 2 of them were brilliant together. Im pissed writer didn't focus more on that but chose to take a cliche route.

this was on point. Though I can't say it was the worse drama, I did love the first half and HJP was well written throughout, but it was definitely a low average one. the writer seem to have spent time writing the beginning but when it came time to include the business, romance, friendship, etc aspect into the plot at the same, time she drop the ball.

i never saw any of her previous work, but she got so many great reviews even when things started going south, I held on thinking there will be some twist or it will all come together at the end for it to make sense lol

yes, lack of research for sure. That's what disappointed me the most bc it had so much potential and started off so well, it fooled many into thinking it will be amazing. They not only force the unnecessary love triangle but also dragged the meaningless breakup with dalmi/dosan.

startup writer should have studied reply 1988, Search: WWW or even cheese in the trap to learn how to execute a love triangle without it overtaking the whole series, how to incorporate business/a specific job to the plot properly and most importantly how to make used of all the main characters with subplots that enhances or move the story forward as a whole.

you truly watched all those series especially hospital play list/flower of evil/hi bye mama and you think start up is on par with such masterpieces? wow..

Anyway, I shouldn't have been surprised by the lackluster final episode but I was hopeful smh. The fact they still kept my man alone with no friends or support system, still had him be a savior to the ungrateful lot, plus had him walking smiling with dalmi/dosan holding hands in the middle at the end was really a contrive and trash ass move.

i wanted a spin off as well just focusing on HJP bc it seem so unfair such a loved, complex and outstanding character didn't get what he deserved. But as you said, maybe it should be forgotten all together and let us just live with the memories of this beautiful person. I'm just desperate to see someone love him and put him first though

the biggest mistake the writer made was setting up the foundation with 1st ep solely being about HJP/DalMi. We did not see DoSan until the last few seconds but by then people were already invested in Jidal. She could have turned it around though but for whatever she kept elevating HJP character while not doing much for dosan's. When people started looking into the man behind the HJP, the love/popularity grew so much bc KSH is such an amazingly talented person with a unmatched personality. In 100 days, writer did not invest a lot of time in his character especially in the beginning plus KSH was still a hidden gem as he was not yet on 2d1n, so it was easier for him to fall under the radar. But you made a good point, dalmi never out right rejected him so kept the faith that there was a possibility, but I think they did that just to keep the audience to be honest.

I think NJH is a sweetheart, every time I watch his interviews, I like him even more. He doesn't exude arrogance to me. With KSH I think yes people love the character of HJP, but this level of popularity is all due to KSH open personality/charm and of course good looks.

sorry, what you're saying is just semantics. He actually didn't have to do anything and just let things fall where they may. But the fact HJP took upon himself to put things right and let dosan know something that he (dosan) saw as insignificant like his hand, over power dalmi memories of their letters she cherished for 15 years.- that's compassion. It will even be more so compassionate if it's true he will be leaving bc he for sure didn't have to say anything at all but chose to.

the thing is people who say that really have no idea who HJP is because if you pay attention you know he say one thing but his actions always prove different. He might have said he doesn't care or pretended he did not care for the letters, but he cherish them like he did her plant or else he would have never kept them for so long,

man didn't even understand or care about the symbolism of the plant. That snarky comment he made to his mom, I was like he STILL doesn't get it? wow.

petty side of me want the last ep to be their worse rated, but honestly it was not ALL bad. if you watch the 1st 14 might as well watch the last 2 lol. As far as ep 15, it's not as bad as I thought when I read comments before watching, but it still not great. Dosan/Dalmi are a perfect pair and I don't mean that as compliment.
