HJP has no memories with Dal Mi has teens. Dal Mi has memories with fake NDS and she did not care about HJP when…
that's neither here or there. My point is what he stated was really a selfless act and showed who he really is. So many ways he could have handled this situation, but he chose to put his pride/hurt aside to put dosan at ease in the most compassionate way

GUYS we all are heartbroken because of HJP. I GET THAT. SO AM I. I ALSO CRIED. but NONE OF THAT justifies criticizing…
people are dragging NJH? I've only seen people attacking KSH and discrediting his success. Both actors did an amazing job. I wasn't too familiar with NJH prior to SU though I was aware of his popularity, but after seeing him as dosan, I will definitely check out his other work. Dosan has some good traits but overall he was an opportunist. It's hard to support him imo.

the way this writer was hyped up by so many when the drama started, I thought I was in for something even if typical, it would be extraordinary. What a disappointment and a let down. It goes beyond dalmi choosing dosan for why I think the writer did a disservice to what could have been an incredible show. I mean I rooted for the SML in reply 1988 as well as cheese in the trap, but I still enjoyed both series (especially reply 1988) very much even though they were not end game. Why? bc the plot were well structured where even the subplots were used to enrich the core of the story. I may not have gotten the end I wanted, but with both series I understood why the decisions were made. Nothing was left unanswered.

Something I don't understand.SDM is:1. Values family, and is close with Grandma2. Has no parents at an early age,…
even the whole concept they try to sell of making it seem like NDS parents were not supportive was flawed. Yes, they (his dad especially) wanted him to be a perfectionist and successful but these were the same people who allowed him to not work for 2 or 3 yrs so he can work on his start up. I think they took care of all or most of his expenses.

oh im sure they are aware. hence why njh/suzy agency (they are in the same one) keeps putting out content with the 2 and also why we never got any promos or swoon interviews as a group after it aired.

At this point we all need to take this series as the fluff that it is with a sprinkle of following this set group in the world of startup (which is done on a surface level and carelessly). Many Jidal fans are looking at it too deeply and over analyzing (i was there too few weeks back but no more) every aspect intellectually that gives too much credit to the writer. I don't think she is anywhere near that clever. I predict a anticlimactic ending typical of ordinary kdramas- it will be meh regardless of which way it goes.

people are not liking start up because it did not live up to what we all expected especially from what they gave in the first couple episodes, it has nothing to do with a ship. So many important plot points became irrelevant, conversations that needed to be had (so far) has been non existent, a 3 yr time jump for the purpose of making dosan and his friends successful yet offers nothing else..I can go on and on. The best part of ep 14 was yong son apologizing to ji pyeong and seeking his advice bc now he has a better understanding of business/investing.. the sisters having a better relationship was also good but in jae still not knowing about her grandma's condition was odd. idk..I've watched other series where i root for the other guy to get the girl but bc the story is so compelling and there usually other things going on, I still love/enjoy the show even if my guy is not end game. Start up unfortunately has lost its way.

Far from high quality but you should watch as it introduce you to the great jipyeong (lol) and the first maybe 8 eps or so are really good

Anyone annoyed how SST kept belittling Silicon Valley? Constantly call it boring, no thrills. I guess humility…
everything they made or showed as important or prestigious (ex letters, sandbox, silicon valley..)all sudden become irrelevant, lacking or no taken serious when they get there

I have yet to watch ep 13 but based on the comments and some scenes I saw, I am in no rush. Are they really telling us 3 yrs went by JP/Dalmi never had conversations about the letters, him admitting his feelings, nor did they get close enough to at least be good friends? 3 yrs went by but they are still stuck in the same spot of 2016? I just can't. Why couldn't they just have JP move on after dalmi made it known she was not interested so when dosan get back they can focus on start-up/sandbox and dalmi/dosan mending their relationship? this whole love triangle not only cheapen the series but also piss people off bc no one want to watch a great character like JP become a heartbroken sad mess to anchor dalmi/dosan love. Everyone is so damn addicted to jipyeong/SeonHo it impossible to stop watching this trainwreck, myself included.

I actually don't believe that HJP and SDM becomes a couple during that 3 years.. HJP still has feelings for her…
I thought the same about them not being a couple for those 3 yrs, but it seems JP was holding a ring, so would be odd for him to take that step if they were not in a relationship.

Apparently the core of the 1st 10 eps will be disregarded. What a mess. Dal mi chose DoSan, there was no conflict of the heart or feelings- her choice was fast and clear. I hate the idea she's with JP only after DoSan left. So will be leading him on for 3 yrs until DoSan gets back smh. At this point, Dal mi does not deserve JP, she needs to be with someone like DoSan end of. I wish the writer stop making us watch JP constantly suffer especially for a bunch of ungrateful people.

DoSan and his crew are unprofessional amateurs who thought they knew everything and let their emotions get the best of them. Even Stephanie who seemed to be the most level headed claimed she was an attorney but did not see any red flags with the contract? like wtf. They (the boys) had absolutely no respect for JP as their mentor. Then DoSan had the audacity to throw fist at him for his own screwup but ask for help right after- like seriously?

JP is a businessman and an investor. For Yong San brother to commit suicide bc JP gave him constructive criticism as a judge shows he wasn't right in the head in the 1st place. I've said this before, but they should start psychologically evaluating the engineers/developers before they come to sandbox bc places like this you will get knock down and told no many times harshly before, a yes comes. One thing I love about Dal Mi she has the mental maturity and emotional capacity to take and accept these things.

Lastly the injustice to In Jae character as a main lead is something I just don't understand. DoSan buddies who are listed as support roles have more screen time than she does. I don't have my hopes up for the next 4 eps bc that's when a lot of kdramas start rushing/screwing things up. But we will see.
