Unnecessary drama really but people love to talk and compare. There was no way the comic could be adapted anyway.…
I don’t know who is trolling between the author and the scriptwriter but the only similarity the two works shared would be the historical period. And the author was talking about what she was paid that confused her, not about this drama being a copy of her work which if it were the case they could have sued the screenwriter. They didn’t because it wasn’t.
And I don’t want to compare but since you are calling the screenwriter not good enough, between the two works, the screenwriter’s dialogues were more powerful and it say a lot about the writer.
They did not mention his age but according to what I had read, yes, they do that at 15.
Yeah. It might depend on how he was viewed by the court, I guess. I google too and mine was of the second king of Burma, he did that at 15. So I thought maybe the latter generation takes it as example.
On April 21, there will be a special screening of the final two episodes at the cinema at Paragon Mall in Bangkok.…
I come here to vent my envy about it. lol Seems I am not the only one. This would be the first time I’m really jealous of those in Thailand. Hope we will get to see reactions in clip and bits in TikTok.
Goodness, Tre is amazing as Nares! Thailand seriously need to cast him in a historical romance drama. He will…
Fans were asking him to be casted in Sai Lo Hit, another very famous period novel and had adapted to drama 4 times. But I think Ch7 have contract over it (if it hadn’t ended already) so it’s unlikely to happen.
Okay. I might buy a subscription there since it’s the case because another series that I want to follow will also air in the same week as Hongsawadee ends. So I can watch both with better quality.
I was happy with the lightness of ep 10 after the emotional ep 9 but seriously, these ghosts are making trouble for him. If this kept go on, will he be able to save his license as a lawyer I wonder.
All in all, this week’s episodes were enjoyable. They haven’t lost their intentions.
I wonder if the grandma at the noodleshop is the one they thought had passed.
Yeah. I think the time were people only watched it and enjoyed it without much thought had passed us. Now we want something out of what we had watched and there is not so many dramas with those deep messages that left one in awe. Though I could say One31 is tackling drama/series with depth, with some dark elements too.
They really carefully choose every fabric. They went to buy them from India, for the Hongsawadee’s side.
Seeing how they, the actors, were sweating a pool even in aired spaces, I know I wouldn’t survive the heat there. Even here when it’s 28 degrees, my hands and feet felt like they were about to burst, and I could hardly stay away from the fan. 😰
Hopefully. I want something new because the usual has become too boring. I could count on my hand how many Thai dramas/series, both BL and hetero I watch during a year although I practically grew up watching nearly every drama before.

Yeah. I don’t think I can endure Thai or Asian countries’s weather for a fact though I lived half my life in Asian, born as one, after I came to the cold of Europe. My mom and sisters went to Thailand on their vacation and even they couldn’t stand the heat.
Very true. That’s why when a drama doesn’t differ from the usual tends to blow up and swept the world with its uniqueness. But I don’t know why the investors invest on the same kind of plot.
Sadly many asians dig Chinese and Korean dramas. That’s why I felt so happy when seeing the comments in TikTok videos like “Let me leave Chinese wall because my ancestor is calling me back home to help in the war”, it really shows that this drama was able to bring back the Thai audience.
Okay. I guess I will have to check the ones on their website to see how it look. I do think the ones on YouTube look dark, guessed it was because they filmed with blue hue (per the director’s word) but they might not be as dark on the website’s episodes.

But really, if I were a producer or director, I would choose something different from the usual to bring them to life.
I really hope they dare to take risks like Be On Cloud (this in series and bl trope) and like Monomax when it comes to different t genres.
