I think this interpretation is supported by the one video I watched in TikTok, when they faced in the battlefield, Nares seemed startled to see Minggyi Swa. I think he was certain Minggyi Swa wasnât the one he was going to face, maybe he thought after he hurt Minggyi Swa, Minggyi Swa wonât be able to be on the battlefield. Either that or they agreed Minggyi Swa would return back to Hongsawadee but maybe Minggyi Swa changed his mind after the dream.
So I have watched the preview again and I think Minggyi Swa went to war because of his dream. Though it wasnât clear whose head King Nanda beheaded, I think it was Nares. And what he said make sense, ââmaybe I wasnât the one who was going to die in this battlefieldââ. I thought it was arrogant at first (in case they make him turn) but now I think he thought Nares might be the one so he went there himself to save Nares and sacrifice himself. As we all know, once the general die, the soldiers retreat and the one who killed the general calls for victory and end the battle.
I liked this scene so much and felt so much for Minggyi Swa that my tears started to fell, like big fat droplets.
Yeah I liked how Nine acted in this episode, you could clearly see Minggyi Swaâs change from all the previous ones. He wasnât that optimistic crown prince anymore but someone who had accepted his fate and had set his goal.
The fact that they were not filming orderly but goes forth and back but he could portray what happens in the scene says he really understood the mindset of Minggyi Swa.
Minye Kyawswa's jealousy of his elder brother is confirmed verbally here. His end in history is very fitting for…
For real. He got his fatherâs blood through and through. I wonder if we will get to see their ending or if the series will end with the end of the duel. Not lying, I want to see how King Nanda would react to Minggyi Swaâs ending.
Episode 9 finally showed Narenâs side of brotherhood toward Minggyi Swa in full. His worry, his fear to actually see Minggyi Swa died, his unwillingness to accept the acceptance of Minggyi Swa about his doom. He went as far as to hurt Minggyi Swa to stop him. Wow.
From the preview, I am wondering if they are trying to make me suspect Minggyi Swa of taking a complete 180. I mean what is that arrogant?!
And I am hearing Nares say what I was expecting to hear from Minggyi Swa. The âif I die at your hand, I am alrightâ!!! What is this?!
I am really hoping Minggyi Swa is only pretending to mislead Nares to push him to end him. Pretty sure this would be the case from how he reacted to Nares telling him about his doom. But oh my god, I hope the director did not turn him a complete 180 because the charm would be gone then, after everything he had done to avoid this bloodbath.
Todayâs episode made me cry from the moment they met and throughout the whole latter part, only laughed when Nares taught Minggyi Swa how to blow the leaf. What an emotional episode.

Will I survive tomorrowâs episode?
