Is it romantic for an almost 1000 years old woman to fall in love with a 9-yo boy -- and a first love at that? It's weird and why does she even like him anyway?
But I guess the show would only work (visually) if their age started young. The kids acted really well though especially FL's younger counterpart
Not a fan of Honda Tsubasa's acting and their crying faces in episode 9 made me laugh, especially Naru LOL.
The last 2 episodes felt forced and Naru's sudden shift in behaviour was bewildering. But overall it's a heartwarming show about achieving your dreams. The romance is subtle but good enough for a side plot.
Are we never going to see what the characters are portrayed to be? Badass Naksu but nonexisting ass kicking scenes. Divine buyeon but powerless to save herself and had to be a damsel in distress? Geez.
I wish they could have revealed what happened in the accident and where her uncle and aunt went gradually instead of slapping it in the audience's faces in two episodes. It was especially weird in the scene where ML and FL reconnected on the bridge - it just felt so long and dull like they were narrating the story instead of showing it.
What disappointed me was the revelation of Kong's part in the accident. I was totally okay with having him unwittingly given FL bad advice but sought forgiveness because it really wasn't his fault that the accident happened. I imagined FL holding her palm to his face; heartbroken for him and said: you lived like this all these years because of me? It was not your fault. /Sadface I also hated how she actually also liked him before. Oh, come on.
And I realised FL is someone who malfunctions the moment something happens in her life - that was painful to watch.
I thoroughly enjoyed the drama though except the last few episodes. It would definitely be better with shorter episodes but all in all it was a warm hearted story.
This is all fuwa fuwa and the cutest. Never mind Aoki's weird ass behaviour before they got their feelings sorted out but he was SO much better being natural and himself next to Ida. They were adorable together T^T
Hasshi - while at first I thought she'd just be a air head, ditzy type of girl - turned out to be the bestest BFF Aoki could ever ask for T^T I am glad she got her happy ending as well.
And the best part of it all - everyone was so supportive of their relationship T^T
Too cute T^T I wish the drama was an hour for every episode. I think I'll go read the manga now to fulfill this gaping hole I'm feeling right now T^T
Why is no one shedding light on the romance portion? Can you please be kind and tell me 1.How is the romance between…
Perhaps it's because the drama is mostly driven by its main plot and romance is secondary. Sure, there are cute scenes but it never made me feel that this is a romantic show more than a crime solving story.
The leads treat each other with respect and actually talk to solve things together. No useless love triangles and misunderstandings - anything that is cliche in a typical in a romantic drama is absent here.
If you're looking for a pure romance, you might be a tad bit disappointed but don't let it stop you (;
The problem for me with these kind of dramas that it leans more to the romantic than the actual rescue or medical…
This is my major gripe as well. Just feels like a romance drama and nothing else really matters, even if a building is burning to ashes – it does not feel as important as the romance the way this drama is going.

I am not sure if this show gets better after watching ep 5 though.
GASP, second male and female leads who are also decent human beings and contribute to the plot without stealing M/FL's scenes!?
WOW, a female lead who has da skillz and smartz and doesn't deteriorate mentally halfway thru the drama!?
THOSE WHO HAVEN'T WATCHED – WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!?
But seriously, the male lead is so nice T^T
