Currently on Episode 8, it's good - both couples have chemistry - but the editing is choppy, and the writing gets blah sometimes. I'll see it to the end, but meh, not excited like I am for LofZ.

I also recommend The Autumn Ballad. Pretty much all the goodies have been named or tagged in the recommendations. There are some coming out this year too that look good, like Wonderland of Love. I like the story on that one and it has MZH - Jing Tian.
Prisoner of Beauty would have been another goodie but that one got canned due to the FL having a possible tax evasion issue. The other one that I'm eying up is The Emperor's Love.
So Roujia could have saved those 30,000 soldiers but instead used them in her scheme to set up the Dowager? Doesn't…
At this moment I can't tell if she hates her uncle or is indifferent to him! The interactions with him have been rather brief and or not important. But, like you said, if he's gonna take over, then I guess he has to go too. Her mind is so one-track right now that she has tunnel vision on that throne and nothing is else is getting in her way.
If I can have a simp moment with Shen and Roujia I GUESS that's fine, would have liked her to have some actual feelings but would she ever commit to any one? That's hard to say.

I think she did? I mean, he was coughing up blood all of a sudden, unless he had an illness which caused that, I can't think of anything that would trigger blood that fast.
