Episode 25 and 26 were riveting and tense. The palace scenes with Yan, Emperor, Xue, Princess, Dowager Empress…
That's what I though too! The whole monologue that the Princess gave off was up there with watching Emperor Palpatine admitting that Luke was fucked on the Death Star. I haven't seen such a reveal handled so well, and from a character that doesn't give off those vibes at first but looking back you can actually see it and feel it.
I bet the actors absolutely flipped their shit for this - knowing it wasn't a big name winner, but in terms of script it was delivering on all fronts.
This drama needs higher rating just on the acting alone. The scene with all 3 together was very well done. Feel…
The wail the grandmother gave off was absolutely intense, I was like ... shit. This is on another level. You could just feel the anguish and sadness of all her scheming coming to an end and her son dying in front of her who it all was for. She was also famous for doing her rage shake while watching MZH get whacked. That floored me.
Omg episode 25 and 26 were so good!!! The twists, the turns, the REVEALS!. Lol since the beginning, I just knew…
My favorite bit was the Princesses' monologue infront of grandma. The way she was walking back and forth, back and forth, it was on another level. I have never seen someone so calm, cool, but absolutely diabolical without magical powers in a scene. Props to her.
I was ready to watch Liu Yu Ning be absolutely amazing in armor ... guess not.
Honest to god, if people are guilty of these things everybody else shouldn't be punished. Idk if they deal with re-runs and what not and profits from streaming, but if they have to punish them - punish them that way?
Maybe one day someone in the government will be like, 'you know, maybe this needs to be reworked in terms of how we handle things like this'.
