Well, based on their 're-meeting' he went all surprised Pikachu. Me thinks he'll find out something is wrong. And, with 2nd ML also on the scene, I'm thinking he'll figure out she was mind wiped (esp. after she was trying to hit on him). He liked her when she was herself and hoped she would never change. It'd be pretty weird if all of a sudden he was now getting flirted with.

See, see! You're right on that. I think the show is using the advances effectively and not overdoing it. There is a reason behind it.
I love me my Star Wars and I love that Lucas did his homework when reading into various religions and the mixing of it with sci/fi an fantasy. But you are correct - and he commented on that too in this last episode. Several characters did. They're bringing more harm to themselves stifling emotions then acknowledging them and working through them.
It really is a strong show, and people are not giving it a chance to really sit after the initial batch that were released. But more for us Blossom Defenders, yes?

100%. Like, sure, her beginning episodes started of "woah, this ain't your normal CDrama, wat?" but girl has an agenda. She has an idea of a dude she is trying to find. And, she has a world she wants to be free in. Plus, he needed to find himself.
There is a lot of Star Wars vibes this thing is giving off, and Jedis were told to stifle their emotions and look what happened? We got a whole trilogy centered on one dude and his son trying to reconnect.
Anyway. He was digging her advances as soon as she kissed him. She itched him, and he liked the feel.

I can strain my eyes a bit and see it. He is kind, gentle, and thinks of her... and he is good looking. So put that together and you have good 2ML in their eyes.

Dude, if he ever went Crimson Peak or Del Toro on us, we will be fed for sure. Like he has it in him. His scripts are always about human struggle and the lighting and costuming amplifies it. Sure it is a western vibe, but he can make it as Chinese as he wants, just give me romance and haunting stuff. 🥲
Awww. Episode 12 got me sad. Yet the ML is like "I must protect her, I sense goodness in her". I saw Star Wars, I know what happens when people see goodness in those and their outcome. 😶🌫️
