So... I am on episode three. The romance is kind of of poorly written. I'm understanding that it's him falling for her and fast but it's not written that well.
I take it in further episodes I'll figure out why he is so against the posion ; I'll take it we will find out who forced her to drink the drink that makes her change.
I think the leads are good but the writing makes me feel like I missed pieces of plot. Does it get better?
In some cultures to wear another persons clothing is a sign of ownership or to be intimate. We gonna get as close to intimate as we can right?Btw, I keep rewinding that line from the trailer where he simps and says "I will win this game for you". Like dang. What a man.
When he calls her Li it reminds me of XZ calling her Li in LoSL. But I like it because it's almost like a secret between them and another cheeky remark that he knows.
All caught up. What I like about this is that it is a revenge story, and while he KNOWS 100% who she is, he realizes she is pretty clever and he went from being entertained to being entertained AND AROUSED. Like, he doesn't want a simpleton woman, he wants a woman who isn't gonna give a fuck, become a tiger, and slay her demons.
As for her, I think she knows that he knows, but she doesn't confirm it because he is keeping her secret and his enemies are hers too. I like that she has softened to him, using him as a bench or an alliance, but is totally having those feelings.
She doesn't want to be focused on crushing on him because she is like, my husband was used by evil princess. He is crushing, and getting used to the idea of crushing, but finding it difficult to let people back into his heart after what happened with his dad.
All in all, my favorite m/f are couples that work alongside one another, have intelligence, and he cheers her on from the side and the same with her.
Currently on Episode 6. This show is wild. I love it. The Duke and JL have brief moments but their chemistry is wild. I only hope I get more. I feel like he had feelings for her back when she was XL. I can be wrong but goodness, I want her to trust him and let him in on it all.
Damn that first episode. The Duke his fine, the girl s gonna be the best thing that ever crossed his eye sight. I can't wait for their moments together.

That's what I took away from the last two episodes. When these two finally hook up the fanfiction better be 100% explicit as fuck.
