I went to hatin' Aunt Xia to absolutely loving her. Woman is the kind of woman I want in a zombie apocalypse. She'll get shit done.

But their little act at the Uncle's house was hilarious because little did they all know (except Zhi) that our dear man was the Commander.

BUT OH SHIT. I know from Dream of Splendor what happens when that drum gets banged, the Emperor has to come and oversee the issue they bring forth. Now they're gonna all be in deep shit - because the Bureau will be involved, so will Hua family, and the Emperor could put two and two together on where his fave nephew is spending his time.

I love that the story is ramping up.

Shao Yao is also so very, very sweet. I love how all the aunts love / adore her / adopted her in the house. I also love watching the love bloom between her and Shen Huan. I love that he doesn't see her handicap as a handicap, he sees her as a person and her kindness and joy in the small things makes him want to continue to be around her. I can't wait for him to romance her / propose to her.

I love that I disliked Aunt Jin, but now I love her. She is just really strong minded, but she's become one of Zhi's best champions.
