I don't see the husbands being portrayed as cruel. All the scenes have been kind, and while there have been despicable men, there has been kind ones too. I really think the men in the family have been okay from what we've seen, and, we hardly have seen them since then. (I think Ep7 was the last time we got any scenes with them.) I'm sure we'll see them again.

Ditto. They're smart, and if the writers keep with this vibe then we'll be fine. I can't see how the writers could have her turn on him or misunderstand him. So I'm really, really thinking she does it for safety sake.

Going from Shen Li to this has been amazing for me, and I won't stop talking about how much I'm enjoying this show. Hope it continues to climb.

Gonna watch because I have an obsession now with him (and this pairing). Also, their photoshoot that dropped recently was too cute.

He is COMMITTED. He is gonna be like, 'do what you need to do, figure out stuff, safety, blah blah, but we're picking this back up when stuff stops being so crazy'.

Apparently not, because writers need to exhaust the trope 1 billion time more because somehow they haven't quite unlocked it the first 1 billion times.

I love it. I just love shows in a historical setting where a woman is defying men. (And, we got a man to support her and is proud of his strong-minded, independent woman.)

I know! I think you'll enjoy the episode. It's so healthy and truly puts a spin on the typical outcomes. They're probably my favorite young historical couple in a drama as of now.

I truly hope it's the end of her whining. Like I felt happy for her, but I am done. May her life be better here on out.

He plays the romantic kind type so well. I hope he does another role like this because he just makes me melt with how careful and supportive he is. (That forehead kiss was adorable with his height.)

I hate it too. I wants another episode so I keep riding the sweet, sweet high of romance and women support.

I love that this is a very woman filled house where everyone is like, 'abolish the patriarchy, fuck that guy'. And the ML is like, 'yeah, she needs a divorce'. This is my kind of show. I was stunned but not stunned when he let that drop.

That house is gonna be like Von Trapp Family on steroids.

FL: I've never been a relationship before, but I read books on it. I'm so nerdy, lol.
ML: I've never been in one either, so we can learn together!!
FL: I read that rule 101 says we have to communicate and tell each other everything - our likes and dislikes - and we can never fight and we'll always be happy.
ML: I know you make sweets, but I actually don't care for them.
FL: Okay! Well, I don't like it when people are talking around me, I'm a bit of an introverted extrovert.
ML: Okay.
[later they are alone and eating non-sweet stuff she made for him]

Relationship goals. I kid you not.

I love that. Girl was like, 'um, I've never been in a relationship', and he was like 'me too'. Then he says basically 'we can learn together', and then she is like 'MISUNDERSTANDINGS CAN NEVER HAPPEN IF WE DON'T COMMUNICATE' and I was SHOOK. This drama is changing the rules on us and I love it. May the be the best.

OMG. EPISODE 21 had me SO HAPPY. (I mean, there was a pretty narly death...) BUT OMG. GOALS. RELATIONSHIP GOALS.

XHQ as a lead... and a good guy? YESSSS. I am ready for him to slay.

Also, the main character - unsure male or female - is asexual. So I hope that though they won't say it outright, I want to see it at least in the tone / feel of the dialogue.

I feel with this is that Neo will play a character that feels aloof, bored, but intrigued by his younger and sweeter FL. I feel that I enjoy it when he plays dismissive / distanced men who slowly fall in love with the female. Because by that point he just gives it his all and passes with flying colors.
