I think why we can't move on is that we got a male lead who was an absolute gem. He was a puppy, he 100% loved her, and the way that his eyes would light up every time she did something.

I never knew I needed XLH in a republican drama. But the look absolutely suits him, because of his body type and his dark looks. This is going to be a thirst show.
I like the idea of Bai Lu's character being with the handicapped male lead, who is cunning and obviously Ryan. Because he just proved he can play two different types of men in Shadow Love, so I can totally see him guarding his heart because of his disability.
I like that they're both on the run, they both have reason to dislike one another, but we know that love is gonna sneak on in. Tough cookie gal meets tough guy male.
Now that Shadow Love is over, the thought of Cheng Li acting like a modern day person pretending to be someone in historical garb is gonna be beautifully hilarious.
So: he gets attacked, falls off a cliff, looses his memory. Meanwhile, a woman he knows finds him and takes him home and because she dislikes him (taking advantage of his memory loss) she makes him a lowly servant. But, he regains his memory and chooses to stay to figure things out.
Meanwhile, our haughty female lead actually lives a hard life and is not treated kindly at home, and while she makes our lead do everything, he does it and she slowly starts falling in love with hm and him with her?
