I agree with you about episodes duration, it's quite frustrating. But I also think that perhaps it could be a good thing too, because short episodes force producers to make a quality show without useless things (for example, thai dramas are often looong with useless and boring scenes when we want to see a progress in the story). I noticed too, that philipino dramas haven't many episodes (4 or 8) so the scenario is less a mess and better made, and more about the story progress than useless emotions and hesitations. But yes, we wait during one week in order to have 2 little episodes, and it's a 10 minutes episode, so it's frustrating

Yes it's true. And each time, it's what I disagree and what is a problem for me in dramas or movies. I can respect and understand lots of things which are different from my personnality or my culture, but when it comes to lack of respect toward someone's decisions and rights in a story, and when it's supposed to be romantic (in fact it's not), I'm angry

Sorry I didn't undestand all what you mean because english is not my first langage (for example I didn't undestand "lack of respect for agency is ugly : what do you mean by "agency" ? Or if you mean by that "lack of respect for the power ones is ugly, yes I undestand that it depends on the culture and the country we're from) but yes, I saw too than the balance between them has changed when Mark pressured him to give him an answer, and I noticed Kit expects a lot from a boyfriend, so Mark isn't yet a winner, let's see all that in the next episode. And that's the reason why I think the drama is not so bad, but the truth is their dynamic is not the thing I prefer in this drama... and what I prefer too, is to analyse the messages behind the way of telling us a story.

Thank you for sharing your point of view, that's the kind of discussions I expect and like (not about who is soooo hot, but analyses about things and how dramas work). And I think your opinion is interesting. Your're right when you say that people don't see handsome guys the same way they treat ugly guys, that's the reason why sometimes, we need to give the same example with an ugly person in order to prove than we won't accept the same things from him and that his attitude is problematic. And yes, I pointed too that in this particular drama, Kit doesn't seem very annoyed, and that's not the real problem. What annoys me is that lots of dramas, BL or hetero dramas, show us a dominant male who often knows better than the submissive partner what is better for him/her, takes decisions for him/her (sometimes without telling him/her) or forbids some things because he wants protect him/her (here, Mark forbids Kit to come back in the engineering faculty, it's gross : Kit has the rights to do what he wants, and he knows better than Mark what's better for him and how doing things). And the more we can discuss about it, the more we'll have different sorts of dramas, with other kind of dynamics and relationships, and not the same tropes/clichés/attitudes as always ;-)

Ah thank you for your support. ;-) I almost dropped the drama too because there is too much scenes with Mark/Kit and I find them quite boring, we lose time with them too often when we have lots of other couple possibilities and just 3 episodes left (what about Jack/Koh ? What about Sab/Padbock ? What about Tong/Pok ? They barely share 2/3 scenes together in the entire drama and I continue watching for them only, but the most part is quite boring and lasts too looooong ! It takes to much space...

Yeah thank you that’s true too but let’s imagine one thing : you are Kit, and Mark is very very ugly. He keeps waiting for you before or after your class, he uses strategies to force you to see him and talk to him, you want to go home and you’re tired after doing sports but he enters your car without permission and refuses to leave, he keeps putting his face close to yours and uses strategies again to touch your skin and your cheeks... If Mark wasn’t the hero and wasn’t so pretty, I’m sure that most comments here wouldn’t be the same. Everybody here would say « oh wtf, Mark is so a pain in the ass ! I hope Kit will punch him ! ». (well, ok, as I said Kit isn’t so annoyed and it’s not really the problem here…). But in most of dramas BL, which aren't very realistic about LGBT, female watchers are supposed to be in one’s character’s shoes. We are supposed to undestand who will be the future seme (and will represent male, in a way of speaking) and the one who will be the « uke » (and represent the female), and again I talk about BL dramas, not real LGBT movies and real LGBT attitudes. So if the message behind these dramas is « ok ladies, we’ll show you how romantic love is and you have to let your man be dominant, do what he wants, decide for you, you must obey him and let him control you because it’s love», I don’t agree. In real life, men who beat their wifes and control their lifes also say « It’s because of jalousy and passionate love », but love never changes a man. If he’s dominant, he’ll stay dominant when you're married. The drama itself isn’t so important, but the message they give us is sometimes problematic and I think it’s good we can discuss about it ;-).

Hello. Ok, this story is a little messy about who will date who, but what keeps my attention is the multiple couples possibilities. And to be honnest, it's not very interesting but it's better acted and less awkward than in 2Moons, so it's enough to be noticed. Though, there's one thing which will be unpopular : I don't really like the main couple Mark/Kit. Ok they are very cute and they act quite well, it's a good job and far better than in 2Moons, but I don't like their couple's dynamic. Romantic music and cute moments don't make me forget that Mark harasses, and harasses him again until Kit lets him doing what he wants : kiss, follow him, going to restaurant etc. He even dares to forbid him some things, who does he think he is ? It's a little annoying, even if the drama shows Kit isn't as annoyed than it seems, because harassement until the other says yes isn't romantic in real world, it's just harassement and it's a bad idea of romantic relationships. So yes, perhaps Kit would have kick his ass a long time ago if he was really annoyed, but the thing is that it's not the first time Kim's character is a stalker and it's supposed to be made in a funny way but it's not funny in reality. But if I put that aside, the drama isn't so bad (forgettable, but not so bad).

I don't know if you're joking or not, but for sure, someone on youtube who read the novel before said the three Annakin sons have their romances, so let's see ;-) (but about the patriarchs it could be funny too !)

I don't agree with this because for me, Bun is the "hero" and the character we are supposed to invest in the first, or at least in the second episode if his character is supposed to be complex ("see the whole thing with his eyes" in a way of speaking), so we're supposed to put ourselves in his shoes. I don't feel any link with him, nor feel the same as him. I understand all Bun's hesitations and apprehensions toward Tan and each time he discovers some strange things about him, but I undestand it with my brain, not with my heart, because the actor make me undestand, but doesn't make me feel. So for me, the complexity of this character is not an excuse to this awkwardness, because it seems illogical or overreacted, not really natural. Yes the character is courageous, yes he's persistent, yes he's shy, but not in a very natural way in my opinion, it seems "forced", as if he's thinking "ok, now I'm supposed to act sadness, there I'm supposed to act shyness" etc.. It doesn't mean I don't like the actor, he's beautiful and I thought he was great, hot and very natural in Together with Me, but in Manner of Death I don't feel the same and yet Tan, who is supposed to be a very mysterious character, seems more easy to undestand to me. Liking an actor doesn't mean thinking he's good in everything he does. And I saw I'm not the first one to speak about his strange acting in MoD, and you're not the first to say the contrary. So let's say it's a personal point of view, tastes or feelings are different for each person, and it's good that all people don't think the same on this planet ;-)

When I said there probably will be a fourth couple with Tankhun Aeriel answered me with an clue about a love triangle and a link to a Twitter post with an image of the Trio : Time Tae and Tem. Time and Tae seem to be a couple when Tem looks pretty sad on the image. So I made a joke about Tem beeing in love with one of them (why answer with a photography about this trio when I say "Tankhun with someone I don't know" ?) and beeing consoled by Tankhun. In fact I suppose we will have a Tankhun / Tem pair, but let's see if someone else anwers to us.

Hello, read the spoiler part I wrote yesterday in the comments for 3 couples. And I think Aeriel gave us an interesting clue for the 4rth couple ;-))

The story was not very interesting but it was cute and nice, and I quote it 7.5 because of the great chemistry between the 2 actors. Compared to most of other Thai BL, they were very very natural, simple, normal as in real life, with natural and gentle kiss (in one episode, because don't expect much of the BL part) and I hope that it will be the case for the couple they'll form in KinnPorsche (the reason why I watched Ingrédients, because even if I'm French, cooking isn't my hobby ;-) ). So the scenario is so-so, but the actors are very good in this drama.

I like some thailand dramas, but I think that most of them aren't good on the screen, and most of the actors aren't as natural compared to the other countries. I watched TharnType too, but I didn't like Type very much (I thought he overreacted, he exagerated hesitations or disgust etc.). but the scenario was quite good. Their chemistry... To be honnest I don't remember so I have to believe you ;-)

Oh yes, let's hope that BL like Manner of Death and KinnPorsche will give us another type of dramas, more adult and not with the usual university situations, and than other BL frome Korean / Taiwan / Philippines will prove that we want something else. Competition with these other countries will force Thailand to produce nicer, better and more intelligent BL dramas, I hope so...

Finally we have a good episode, with action, suspense, and without long & useless scenes. I like this drama, but to be honnest, I don't like it as much as I expected because I don't feel a real alchimy between the 2 protagonists. I liked them very much in Together with Me, but in Manner of Death I think Max acts quite well, but Tul's character is quite awkward and isn't very natural, he seems a little embarrassed or forced to play an adult role who doesn't suit him very well. But at least, the story becomes more and more interesting and the love story between the two couples is in progression. Compared to episodes 2-6, I think episodes 7 & 8 are better and more interesting.

Oh ! What a beautiful scene in the swimming pool in ep. 1 ! Music, colors, etc. Juste in one scene, they can prove that Taiwan (and Corea, Philippines...) are much much better to make nice BL dramas. In comparison, stupid Thai BL are (for the most) far below = no emotion / fake emotions, no beautiful scene, no nice colors, stupid music, stupid hesitations and the characters aren't natural at all. Ok in We Best Love, we have the usual clichés, but at least it's nice filmed and the actors are natural, they don't faint or roll eyes as soon as the other male lead touches their hand, etc. I'm happy that I discovered this one.

Oh thank you ! So if they use the same usual trope of unrequited love, let's imagine that Tem is in love with one of the two members of the Time/Tae couple, he's sad and perhaps Tankhun will console him ! I hope so ;-).

The 3 other romances should be : Vargas (the bad guy from the second branch of the clan who seems to be the antagonist) and Pete (one of the bodyguard from the principal branch), Kim (the 3rd brother) and Porché (Porsche's brother), and probably Tankun (the 1srt brother) with someone I don't know.

Hello everybody, I'm new here and I apologise if my sentences are incorrect because english is not my first language. I'd like to say that I can't wait for this drama to be aired, I'm so excited ! Second, I'd like to give some details I could find on Youtube. It seems that we won't have juste one romance in this story, because if they respect the novel, we could have... 4 bl romance in the drama ! This one is called KinnPorsche so I don't know if they'll make 3 other dramas about the other characters or if they have decided to put all romances in this one, but it seems very very interesting !
