As it's the third episode, I can say it's a very good job compared to some other BL dramas, especially thai BL. Just with little changes in his face, we can understand Shi De's feeling even if the character is a quiet one. As for Shu Yi, he has various and interesting sides, seductive, childish, natural, provocative and sometimes very stupid, which make us want to slap him in the face and kiss him in the same time, he's really appealing. This sides give both characters a good depth and makes them alive. I absolutely loved History Trapped which is my favorite BL, but even in Trapped most actors aren't as natural as in We Best Love (except for Tang Yi). Now, Thailand will have to work hard to be at the same level and it's a good thing.
A very funny and good love story between a boss and his secretary. I often laughed during scenes and the second characters are funny too. I liked the fact that nobody's evil in the office, so we don't have the usual evil bitch trope we can usually find in other dramas (Thai lakorn for example). But I found the part about the male lead's past and trauma quite boring (it's a matter of point of view ), and I dropped this drama when the romance between the two became resolved (so I watched 90% of the drama, I don't think I missed something). That said, you have to watch this one if you're new in Korean dramas.
The story began very well, it was very interesting at first. We wonder how the two lead would love each other, how their romance will turn because she's a teenager and he's a grown up mafia boss. But at the end it became stupid. We have long and boring (and ridiculous) action scenes. I often like the second leads romance, but here the second female lead can't even have her romance because at first she's in love with the mafia boss, and we all know the mafia boss'bodyguard is in love with her, but no, she has to die before he has the chance to tell her his feelings. And last but not least, when the female lead went to school she has the chance to meet a good friend, but as he's hot and has a pretty face, the mafia boss is jealous so he forbids her to meet him again when they are married, despite we all see she's obviously very sad to lose her friend. So again, toxic masculinity wins...
A very good and interesting story, with action, romance, mystery and a very strong female lead. I liked her very much because she's really badass, she wants justice, she's honnest and fights for her rights. For example, she's able to kick the kidnappers'asses just with her legs when she's on a chair with her arms bound, so it's funny and she's really badass. She's able to hear and undestrand other's opinions too, even if she disagree in the first place. Her romance with the male lead is interesting and they are beautiful together, and their romance takes time before its conclusion. It's a good thing too that we don't know who the villain is before the middle of the drama, and the villain is quite good, we totally understand the reason behind his/her acts and he/she is very appealing (a.k.a touching). What I dislike in this dramas are just few things : as in most lakorns, we have long and boooring scenes in the middle of the drama, where the two protagonists are stuck in a rural / peasant country, in order to make them more closer, and these kind of scenes always bore me because each time, it's a waste of time in dramas which already have lots and long episodes. Secondly, the female lead, who is supposed to be badass, suddenly becomes weak and clumsy, because if it wasn't the case, the male lead wouldn't have utility at all, right ? And finally, I was attracted too by the romance between the female lead's brother (the future king) and the female lead's bodyguard, but it's not really resolved at the end of the drama, because we all know that she'll devote herself for him during her entire life to protect him, and we suppose that as a king he'll have to choose another wife so their romance will be complicated. That said, it's a really good story and a good lakorn to begin if you're not familiar with them.
I didn't like very much this story, because it could have been done better. Yes, the love story between the protagonists is quite cute, but the jealous antagonist girl is very stupid and cliché, her behavior has no logic at all (stupid love isn't an excuse for being crazy). The villain just say sorry at the end of the drama and everybody forgive him. As for the protagonists, they are annoying : the female lead is weak, she always cries with a whingeing voice, the male lead use the excuse of love to put his nose in her life and takes all decisions for her without her consent. Ok he's a real man, we understood that, but he has no respect for her, each time she says "no I don't want", he insists all the time until she gives up and it's supposed to be romantic but it's not. He even takes decisions behind her back to "protect her", because everybody already understood that she's a weak woman who doesn't know anything about life, you know. And the story show us that he was right to act like that, because he knows some things about the mystery and she doesn't. He's too much dominant and the drama is a bad example for toxic masculinity. The romance between the second leads is annoying too. The only thing which keeps my interest until the end was to know how the mystery would be resolved.
My first lakorn, it's a good drama to begin with. We have all the clichés we can find in dramas, with a bad and stupid ex-boyfriend and his evil new girlfriend, a female protagonist with a protective and good family, good and supportive friends, a love triangle, two beautiful male leads who fight for the heroin and come from two enemy mafia clans, a secondary romance between second leads, mystery and action. Quite good, (except for the rape part, which is an usual trope in thai lakorn).
I liked the story very much and I found the twins plot very interesting. I love when a twin substitute the other. I like too when the female protagonist isn't obedient but stands for herself and the way she defends / protects her sister, she does not hesistate to speak voice loud and she doesn't care if she has ennemies. She's strong and athletic, which isn't the case in lots of dramas. The love story is funny and interesting. What I regret a little is the mess about the whodunit story, it wasn't very well done and goes in all directions, and at the end of the drama we just think "oh, ok, I'm not very surprised, all that just for that", I would have prefer a real twist. But if we put that aside, it's quite addictive.
I quite liked this lakorn, it was a good drama to watch during holidays and to spent time. As some comments say, it's a good way to give us a good lesson of History about old times in Thailand, culture, and archeology about these old and beautiful buildings / ruins. Beautiful costums, and beautiful decors. And finally, the love story was quite interesting, I like "hate-to-love" stories and the way our female protagonist gains other's affection is interesting. But there is one thing I didn't like much : I was thinking during all the drama that it tried to show us how better it was when young women were obedient. During all the Lakorn, our female protagonist (who comes from the 20th century) has her own way to behave and to analyse things around her. So sometimes it leads to conflicts and misunderstanding, and can be funny sometimes, but to resolve things she was forced to be an obedient, respectful and gentle girl. So yes, I know it was like that in old times, but the drama never shows us that her actual and modern behavior can be good too. And during all the lakorn I felt the producer wanted to show to female audience that it's better to be a good, obedient and respectful girl than being a modern girl. That said, it's a good and interesting story. Forgettable, but enough to spent time.
If that were the case, monos would not kidnap their probes and do such things. It may still be explained, but…
Yes, we'll see. I don't think either but as it's not said yet, we can elabore as much as theory than we want in order to prevent him to do some stupid things and it's quite funny ;-)
As we are in 2021, I'm curious to know if a photography could have the same effect than the probe's face. Color rush happens when the mono's brain recognise his probe's entire face, so... I wonder if it's explained in the novel. It could prevent some dramatic issues too...
I think it's probably because there's a special bond between a mono and his probe. That would explain why so many…
So it's sort of love ;-). If it's the case it's healthier than fascination or liking dependance NEW EDIT : ok, I take back my words. Firstly I didn't really understand the bond between them and Yoo Han motives, but I just saw the 6th episode and it's clearer for me now. Yoo Han is definitly passionate about colors and know a lot of things about them. So finding someone who could be as passionate as he his, talking about them during hours and teach them to someone who'll listen to him makes sense.
I agree with you about episodes duration, it's quite frustrating. But I also think that perhaps it could be a…
Ok I see (I didn't undestand the word trial Bl in the first place). Yes, and it seems that the Color Rush novel talks about thriller too, and mystery about mono's disappearance. There's only 3 episodes left, we'll see if they talk about that or if they reduce the drama to the bond between the two protagonists. Or if they'll produce a second season, maybe.
I found Mark annoying too particularly in the first 1-3 episodes, but even if I'm to imagine Mark were ugly or…
Yes indeed. And I'd say too that this problem is more global and more important. It leads people to believe than when a girl say a "no" it means a "yes". It give a big mess in girl's brain. If they say yes, they are seen as bitches and easy girls. If they say no, sometimes it's a real no, sometimes it's a yes but they don't want to look as bitches, and if it's a no which means yes they are forbidden to be really sincere and all that leads to misandersanding and sometimes rape. So yes, sometimes media are dangerous ;-)

Yes I can unsterstand that. The problem is, special bond or not, probes gain litteraly nothing in this relationship, even if monos gain something (seeing colors ability). I remember that in one episode, they talk about the Yoo Han's problem to recognise faces, but it's not very explored in this drama and they don't talk about that anymore after that
I think this drama is quite good and well done (except for the fact that it's short episodes), but I wonder what are Yoo Han motives. I understand Yeon Woo and his motives, as a mono his fascination for Yoo Han is a good metaphor for addiction problems. But what are Yoo Han motives ? If it's just helping somone else, it's ok. If it's love at first sight, it's ok too. If it's fascination, it's quite ok, and perhaps he likes playing with fire, knowing that Yeon Woo can be a danger for him. On the contrary, if he wants to build a relationship based on dependance, if he likes when someone is dependant on him, it's not very healty. But we are just in the middle of the drama, so we'll see.
