I gotta say as much as I love the series (the series is way better than the novel) i really don't appreciate how…
Honnestly, I don't think so... It's already a small victory if Lakorns recently stopped to show us rape as a normal thing, don't ask too much... But I see we agree about the "as a woman this was a slap on my face" thing. I'm very disapointed right now and I hate them so much !
I don't really like the truth about Jane's murderer. It's as if we were told "ok, these men are trash, but at the end women are worse". Sorry, but even if it is written like that in the scenario, I don't agree with that. It doesn't make me forget that Rungtiva, even if she's a murderer, wouldn't have make such things to protect herself if these men weren't so obsessed to use women as sex dolls and pressure her at the beginning. That doesn't lessen her faults, but please, producers and scriptwriters, stop trying to make us believe that in such a men's world, things are the same on both sides and that women are sometimes worse. Men have all the choices they want. Women have to deal with reduce choices, the ones that men allow them to make. So yes Rungtiva is a bitch, but I think she's a victim of this system too. She cries. They never cry and they'll never do. That said, I can't wait for the ultimate episode, and I hope we'll finally see a sweet kiss between That and Sorawit.
So finally, if we can't have these two paired in MoD (let's see how MoD will turn but I don't think it'll happen), at least we can see them together in another drama !
Well i had to block to an disrepectful fanatic, im just giving my opinion not asking for the drama to be canceled…
Bon bah enchantée en tout cas je suis choquée que le commentaire haineux de cette personne ait eu autant de like et de soutien. Mais bon c'est comme ça...
Well i had to block to an disrepectful fanatic, im just giving my opinion not asking for the drama to be canceled…
Hello, you're right, many stories have this "enemies to lovers" trope. It could show a toxic idea of love relationship.…
Yes it's true that this kind of situation aren't very realistic. In real life, if you don't like someone, you block them or try to avoid them ! That's why, I think, producers and scriptwriters have to put lots of coincidences in these dramas in order to make the protagonists fall in love, make them become closer, learn to know each other better because in real life that'll never happen and we keep avoiding those that we hate. In some dramas that "enemies to lovers" trope can be problematic, sometimes it's not. For example I was very angry and unease when I watched "Ra Raerng Fai". It was impossible for me to keep watching a lakorn were the enemy forces the girl to marry him for revenge, and keep touching her (cheeks, arms, sleeping in the same bed) when she's obviously disgusted by him. When the two protagonists are real assholes, and toxic with each other, love isn't enough to believe they'll change after they're together. But sometimes producers make a good job, and it can be funny, so it works and it can be ok. But you're perfectly right to love or hate some tropes, fortunately there are so much tags for dramas on this website, so everyone can find the dramas which suit them the most.
¿Why is this toxic trend that states the main couple start meeting each other but being asholes, disrepectul,…
Hello, you're right, many stories have this "enemies to lovers" trope. It could show a toxic idea of love relationship. But as other say, it works for audience because it brings "passion" in the protagonists relationships. For my part I like this trope so I keep watching this kind of dramas, but I understand you. But the "passion" side put apart, I think further, and I wonder if lots of us (girls) are interested in this trope because "hetero relationship" are not equal (same sex love hasn't this difference of status between the partners) and women are more often the losers in these "usual" relationships. So perhaps female audience need to watch a story with a conflict which is resolved at the end of the drama because the "manly" character surrenders to the other, so if it's not resolved in the real life, at least girls win in these dramas... (when I say "girls", it's for female protagonists OR the male protagonists were're supposed to invest in the BL). It's a theory...
I really agree with you. I really like the story until know, it's very fresh and I really love the character of…
Yes indeed, Mix acting is interesting and he puts/adds something in his character, like sweetness. We couldn't predict that in his first scenes in the casino, so it's a good surprise.
With this 2nd episode I can say this drama is quite good and interesting, it's a change compared to the usual students BL stories and it's deeper than many of them, a little more poetic too. I'm very curious about the following episodes and I found the hero quite touching. He doesn't overreact and has a mature attitude. We understand him and his motives. The only thing which bothers me is the second male lead. I don't really like Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri (who plays his love interest). I didn't like him in WaterBoys, in Theory of Love he was ok but nothing very original, but I think his acting has zero charisma at all. At least in this new drama he doesn't overreact either and he's a little older too, but sorry, I feel nothing, no aura with him. It wouldn't be a problem if he played a second lead or it it was a different kind of drama, for example police story or military one, but unfortunately, he plays the protagonist in a romance and even a little touch of charisma is very important. But the story is quite good and interesting. And I'm fond of romances so it's not a waste of time anyway.
At the end everything that has to do with five years is written ...the only part that is spoken is the 76692 hours…
Yes, I questionned myself too about the "seductive underpants". So if Shi De draw him like that, I suppose that means Shu Yi choose to wear them before Shi De go to America, so that means too that they made love (but we didn't have the chance to see that, so that means we'll probably have some hot scenes between them during passionate moments of reconciliation, I hope so).
I totally agree with you about the loss of memory part. The producers couldn't have make such a mistake about hours before they reunite. If it's about 9 years and not 5 years, that means Shi De doesn't remember the University part. He's the narrator at this moment. Otherwise, he would have give a proper count of hours equal to 5 years. But we'll see !
That was a good story with a good end. So even if we stop there it's ok. But fortunately we have a second season and the trailer which just appeared on Youtube is excellent. That slap is really something ! So I want to play fortune teller and I can imagine that Shi De wanted to come back but Shu Yi's father intrigated in order to separate them and Shu Yi doesn't know that but he'll discover later, with lots of emotions and tears, that Shi De didn't contact him to protect him. Let's see ! PS : Ok Abruti means "stupid" in french, but "jerk" is a more appropriate term.
But I see we agree about the "as a woman this was a slap on my face" thing. I'm very disapointed right now and I hate them so much !
