I totally agree with you about Kan Krittikorn. He's very expressive and very touching even if he deserves better…
LOL My list will be much, much shorter than yours : 1) Boun Noppanut Guntachai 2) Jeff Satur 3) Can Yaman, but for this one it will never happen because he's a turkish actor !!!
I totally agree with you about Kan Krittikorn. He's very expressive and very touching even if he deserves better…
Oh yes why not, but I don't really like Kao. Ok he's good looking but in Lovely Writer I thought his attitude looked quite childish and I'm not attracted to him ;-)
I totally agree with you about Kan Krittikorn. He's very expressive and very touching even if he deserves better…
Exactly he just has to appear in a scene to make our heart beat even if he says nothing. He's very charismatic and touching and I think too that it was a bad pairing. Let's hope we can see him soon in another drama, but his twitter account is quite empty on this subject except for some model activities with Kao, so... We'll see.
I need Kan Krittikorn Jaruthammaporn who plays Petch to be pair to star in a BL series. He’s young at 19 and…
I totally agree with you about Kan Krittikorn. He's very expressive and very touching even if he deserves better scenes and a better pair. I hope that after this drama, we can see him in good stories. I must admit I kept watching this drama only for this actor and because I hoped he could be happy at the end... But as I said a few days ago, it could have been very difficult for Dew Nittikorn, who is much older than Kan Krittikorn, to play a couple with a much younger actor as Kan Krittikorn who was barely an adult (when they played this scene I think Kan was 17-18 and Dew was 24-25). And Kan Krittikorn is already a model, so he knows how to act in front of cameras, on the contrary Dew Nittikorn seems to be a beginner in this industry (I'm not sure about that but we don't have much details on MDL about him, so perhaps I'm wrong but it could explain why this scene is a little rushed).
Hello, I see what you mean when you say that Pie is toxic. I understand why people think that when seeing this…
And I think this scene could have been very difficult to play for Dew Nittikorn (who plays Pie) because he's much older than Kan Krittikorn (Phet). Phet was probably 17 or 18 when they played this scene, and Pie was already 24/25 so it was probably difficult to kiss and to pretend to love a much younger actor who wasn't an adult when they filmed their scenes... That could explain why Dew Nittikorn is not very "at ease" in their couple, on the contrary Kan Krittikorn who is younger, is already a model so he knows how to act / how to show himself in the light or in front of the cameras and he's better in these scenes. That's my theory, but I could be wrong.
Hello, I see what you mean when you say that Pie is toxic. I understand why people think that when seeing this…
Yes that's true, it's not very clear at the beginning. I began to really understand in the beach scene. But at the end, when they reach the safe house, we can understand that he's quite spying on Phet's reactions about Sun (each time someone talks about "where is Sun" or when Sun disappears to meet Kim, they look at each other's face, as if they wanted to be sure about the other's feelings. That's why they begin to ask each other "what do you feel / are you hurt" when they talk about Kim or Sun. And in the 16th episode, when they watch Kim and Sun with the horse, Pie is ready to be kissed by Phet (and he was about to kiss Phet too in the stairs when he apologized in the... 5th or 8th episode I think ?) but each time, one of them changed his mind and it's too late. So when Phet finally kisses him, I'm pretty sure that Pie was WAITING for that, but he's surprised, and he thinks Phet is playing with his feelings, because Phet is supposed to like Sun (it's false, Sun is just a "second choice" for Phet and he doesn't like him). And I think (even if the creators don't really show us this dynamic) that both of them always compete for ALL so each one thinks that the other doesn't like him for real but to win over the other. That's why Pie rejects Phet at first when Phet kisses him. Yes, I must admit that even if the story is quite dumb, I'm obsessed about this couple and I was touched when Phet finally shows his true feelings.
Hello, I see what you mean when you say that Pie is toxic. I understand why people think that when seeing this…
Yes, when it's subtle ! Because if it's some new actors, it can be difficult to play this trope. For example in this story we just see anger from Pie, and not "anger because my feelings are complicated" lol !
Hello, I see what you mean when you say that Pie is toxic. I understand why people think that when seeing this…
Yes but I read somewhere (on facebook or twitter) that they were friends before faculty ( in high school I think). So yes it's a pity the creators didn't really give them more time to explore their relationship and their dynamic. As they aren't the heroes of this story, we miss some parts and some explanations about them...
Hello, I see what you mean when you say that Pie is toxic. I understand why people think that when seeing this…
Yes this scene is so beautiful when they finally show their true feelings... But since my last comment I reconsidered my thinking about Pie's personnality and I think you're right too when you say that Pie is toxic. Because even if he loves Phet too, he's quite brutal when he's angry. In fact, when we think about him 1) he's quite a stalker with Kim, and 2) he often hurts Phet, with words and once physically when they did fencing (ok he apologized just after that but hey, he hurt him anyway...) so even if it's my favorite couple in this drama, that doesn't mean Pie's character is the best for Phet ^^ Anyway, Kim perfectly understood that he has nothing to do in their story (he often tells both of them that it doesn't concern him, in a way or another "don't involve me" or "the one who can read you like a book is not me" etc.)
RAIN & PAYOO WERE THE ONLY GOOD THING IN THIS BL DRAMA
Hello, I see what you mean when you say that Pie is toxic. I understand why people think that when seeing this drama just once, but I don't really agree because I rewatched all their scenes to understand their dynamic. The problems in this pair are : 1) they don't have much screen time together (just 1h30 during all the drama which is almost 12-13h and they are just a secondary couple) so they don't have time for us to understand what's really happening between them 2) the actor who plays Pie isn't very subtle so we don't really understand what he's thinking and what he's feeling toward Petch 3) I don't think that the english subtitles are really good... But after I rewatched their scenes I think I understood what's happening. The truth is Petch is in love with Pie, and Pie is attracted to Petch too. We don't really understand if he's really in love with Kim or if he just believes that he's in love with Kim because he doesn't want to admit his feelings for Petch. But the scene on the beach gives us a good explanation. Petch is always ambiguous because he's afraid to tell his real feelings to Pie. So when he says he's waiting for Pie (and he's always waiting for him so a little more is not a problem) it's an ambiguous sentence which could mean that he waits for his love, or he's just waiting for them to go to the hotel room. And Pie says "if you really mean it from the bottom of your heart, there wouldn't be a Kim". So it's pretty clear that he believes that Petch is playing with his feelings and if he could be sure that Petch loved him, he would choose Petch. But Petch is unsure and he's afraid to be a substitute for Kim, he doesn't want Pie choose him just because Kim rejects Pie, so he answers something like "but if you don't give your heart a chance, how would you know wich one you really want to be with ?" (sorry for my english). So it's clearly a problem of misunderstanding between them, because Petch believes that Pie doesn't love him so he stays ambiguous (he's afraid and he thinks that Pie loves Kim and will reject him - he wants Pie choose him by love and not because Kim rejected him) and Pie believes that Petch is playing with his feelings (because Petch is ambiguous and never tells him clearly that he is attracted to Pie). So when they finally kiss, at the beginning each one thinks it's to compete with each other. But it's only when Petch cries that Pie understands that Petch's feelings are sincere and that's mutual. So yes, if we watch the drama and their dynamic just once, we can believe that Pie is toxic for Petch. But rewatching their scenes made me understand that they are both afraid to be rejected by the other and both of them lied about their real feelings ;-)
I agree, I'm a BL fan and was just curious how this gonna turn out and ep 1 was solid. I hope it keeps going well!
I see what you mean. For my part it really depends on the drama quality. For example I didn't mind to wait 1 week between each episode for KinnPorsche (because it was quite a good story and we wanted to know what happens next week) but for some boring series like Oh!My Sunshine Night, waiting one week is really boring, if nothing happens, and I must say I was bored by the 2 main couples. I kept watching only for the 3rd couple but they had a conclusion in the 16th episode so it was very boring to see the 2 last episodes for nothing...
