I don't know if it's original or "borrowed": the South Korean series "Sweetheart Service" has…
Thank you for explaining, now I understand what you meant. That's true: if they didn't pay to aquire the rights, it's easier to just cancel the project. But I still hope they will keep it. Someone suggested JavaSurf as leads somewhere in the comments. Not a bad idea. :))
wait, the man and woman at the beginning of movie were Gyeongruk's parents?😐 i mean at first it seemed like…
Please post this as a spoiler. I was just thinking about watching the movie, then I read your comment (it's the first that came up) and it totally ruined the movie for me. That's, of course, not your fault, but many people would be very grateful if you could please edit the comment and mark it as "spoiler".
Everything in this series is soo good except why make a grown up man act like a 10 year old kid. 😭😭 Why??…
I was thinking the same. I even looked up if the series had the same director as "The Middleman's Love", because that one was also cringe. The characters were not cute anymore, but more like caricatures. I totally understand that they want the characters to look and act cute, maybe it's also the cultural difference, but this is way too much!
"I've seen many better series, even college-themed ones, that have a lower rating." This already shows…
I never said I loved TeeTeePor, certainly not that I "love them deeply". But even if I did indeed "love them deeply", I'm still objective enough to know if a series is good or not. I understand that you are a huge fan, but 1) that doesn't mean the series is good (at least so far) and 2) you can rant for hours, it still won't change my opinion.
I like TeeteePor / PorTeetee and I enjoy the series so far, but the funny sound effects (not funny at all, actually) totally get on my nerves! I also think that the rating (8.6 as I'm writing this) is exaggerated. Even if I like the cast and the premise, this is still just one of the many college series, nothing THAT special until now (episode 4). I've seen many better series, even college-themed ones, that have a lower rating.
What is going on with this series and the admin of their Youtube channel? Episode 9 has been out for more than a week now, without subtitles. I didn't even know episode 10 was online, because it's not in the playlist. I just found it now by chance, also without subtitles. Even though I want to support the actors and I watch series always on their original platform, this time I even tried on kiss, hoping to find the episodes with subtitles. But even that platform gave this series up, there are only 8 episodes online.
For everyone asking: meanwhile, episode 4 has been uploaded on YouTube, but I can't find ep 3. Maybe they messed up the settings and the video is not visible to the public? In any case: the series is now available on GagaOOLala, too. So, if you can't watch it on YT, but have a GagaOOLala membership, go watch it there.
I'm always grateful when we get subtitles at all, but whoever decided to put 3 subtitles on top of each other in episode 1 deserves to be fired. Especially since the 3rd one doesn't add any value: it's exactly the same text, just a bit bigger (when the original one was perfectly visible). It doesn't make any sense, so WHY?? For people annoyed by that: fortunately, it's only in episode 1 and there's also not much dialogue. Keep watching. :)
Uh, this short film made me dizzy. And I'm not saying it as a joke, it really made me dizzy. The camera is moving so much that it spoils the entire experience of watching the film. If I had recorded this with my mobile phone and while being drunk, the images would be more stable than this. There are also some awkward framings that don't make sense at all, like the camera focusing on one guy's foot, on a fly on the other guy's back, the boys' underwear or their nipples. And no, not in a nice or sexy way. It's just bad framing.
On the positive side, the actors are cute (I would even say handsome, but they were too young to be in the "hot guys" category). The story was meh... nothing new. I found the premise of "Awkward Love" (by the same director and also with a love triangle) more interesting. But the acting was way better here, especially Bluebam's.
The best part: their kiss. It was a lot better than many kiss scenes done by more famous actors.
Takabayashi's hands are rated E baby.....EVERYBODY can get it lol!!! You say something he doesn't like? Slap!…
I was totally lost, too. But then I read the description on GagaOOLala and it makes more sense (even if not completely...): "Takumi Hayama struggles with familial trauma that leaves him fearful of physical contact." So, as far as I understand it now (watching ep 2), they are boyfriends, but without touching.
Is it only me but PEARL seems to NOT like skinship. All the behind the scenes and public appearances that they…
I haven't watched videos of them other than the series, but just because they don't do fan service doesn't mean that he doesn't like skinship. Not defending him, but think about it: outside the BL bubble, do you see actors being clingy to each other, touching each other etc.? Not even actors who play couples behave like that. Maybe, just maybe, they do it if they are a couple in real life, too, but even then: they don't stay glued to each other during interviews or events. Some people are professionals, you know? :) I actually think it's better to be a bit distant (not unconfortable!) in the case of BL actors, in order to stop delusional fans, sasaengs and so on.
