I believe it’s too soon to judge kang dong ju’s actions . Since he said he has a plan & I believe the script writers won’t spoil the main lead of s1 as it may disappoint the viewers who have watching the show since s1 ( including me ) so I would patiently wait for the next ep & hope he would clear out his intentions & what he is planning . In todays ep he gave me mixed feeling . I thought I understood what he wanted to do & in the next moment I didn’t .
But I really really hope he can make peace with everyone soon

Lol 😆 . For me , I can’t see professor ahn in him . The aura is completely different. Prof. Ahn has an angelic aura/ personality while kang dong ju is kang dong ju

Yayyy I love this gang so I won’t complain about having another season . But it’s just that in the story songhwa had a crush on ikjun while ikjun was in love with & married uju’s mom . So this may portray songhwa’s one-sided love :(

By strong story I meant actions taken by the characters or the consequences to make sense( I prefer stories that way ) . But yeah , I guess u r right I should have reduced my expectations since it’s a light rom-com

I second that . though I agree he is a bit childish but he is good at heart & also a gentleman ( proved at ep 22 ) which is why I felt bad when his ex(?) gf expressed he is good as a bf but not as a husband ( he cares soo much for her but still he is not enough 😭😭) that’s why I hope he finds someone who will love him for who he is & not pressurise him to change his ways

The actors specially the ml & fl are really good at acting ( their facial expressions are 👍👍👍👍) but the story is weak . It’s ok but not good .

Watching janice cleaning the corruption in the company makes me wanna see her in a palace politics drama . She would act fantastic in something like yanxi palace. She can taunt ( act ) very well

I agree . I couldn’t express my dislike for their pairing as others might misunderstand me hating on couples with big age gaps so I tried to justify their relationship but still till the end I couldn’t like it . They were AWKWARD . I felt even the actors were awkward as there was no chemistry or visual attraction between the two

I liked borah’s friend & her husband’s storyline though . It portrays how life after marriage might not be the way u expect it to be . But u can still feel their love through small yet heartwarming actions & gestures . other than these two ( along with the main couple ) I didn’t care about any of the other two couples

Sorry not sorry but if my younger sisters showed attitude like bo-mi did after borah learned she was pregnant scoff pregnant or not I would kick her out of the house . I haven’t watched ep 14 fully but she is driving me crazy with her attitude . I don’t hate her for being pregnant like that but the way she is behaving goshhhhh makes me wanna tear my head apart

I just got to learn about whatever just happened & damn ! from the comments it looks like some sort of amber heard & Johnny depp sort of case ( u know in terms of the accuser was the real abuser & the accused being the victim )

Kang San - the legitimate son of the ex crown prince ( he decided not to sit on the throne cause he only wanted the revenge for his dad & had no wish of becoming the king ) He married the fl by the end though they didn’t show their wedding
Kim shi yeol- the watchman ( he was set free by San as only the owner can set him free after his responsibility is done ) . After that he roamed around for a while & came back & married the fl’s elder sister after she forgave him for killing her fiancé in the last . Yikes sounds toxic when I say it like this . But it’s complicated )
Yoo ha - the illegitimate son of the ex crown prince ( yes , he is san’s younger brother though he looks older ) . He became the king after san asked him to . He wanted a society worth living for the poor & weak & thus he sat on the throne to make this dream come true

I never knew heart protection ( the novel ) was getting a drama adaptation . This is one of my most favorite cnovels. But I don’t know how to feel about the drama as the novel already had a big place in my heart I feel if the drama changes something a little bit I will be easily disappointed
Also why did they change the name ? It already had a beautiful name - heart protection which had a great meaning to it ( also the relationship between the fl & ml ) :(

The fl is a solid actress . One of the rookies that can really act so I know she will portray the character very well . I am just a little doubtful about the visual age difference. Irl they have only 9 years of age gap but I feel the fl has more of the high school - college freshmen type of look while the ml has mature ( old ) vibe to him . But let’s see . If the chemistry is good they will win over the visual age barrier

I am loving how everyone is rooting for shi yeol. I believe it is also due to the actor who portrayed the character so well that we fell for him .
I feel kang hoon always plays this type of character where even if he is not the main lead ( like u know the ml ) he grabs the attention of the viewers . For example in the red sleeves he was able to portray the perfect creepy ness of his character since the beginning . In little women he had a strong chemistry with one of the fls & nicely portrayed a good supporting character ( even though he didn’t get much screen time ) . In this drama his character is complex . We know almost nothing about him yet we keep falling for him . And his duality is >>>>

I think this is what they call a “ feel good “ cdrama . When u don’t want to watch anything complicated or heavy just want something light hearted it’s good for that time

I guess that’s how we humans r . We can advise others easily but when our turn comes we seem to forget all of our past advises and do stupid things

I think she puked all over him . But editors being editors they might want us to think of “that”

For me personally, I feel this is the first drama I am watching where the main character is portraying each stage of a breakup thoroughly .
I often found it unrealistic in dramas and novels where the main characters move on in life very fast after a breakup . Even though I get it that they do it cause they have to focus on the love story of the main couple more . But here they r thoroughly showing the main leads’ grief and the improvement in their own relationship which I am liking ALOT

Even though the ml was quite nice to her it took him a while to open up to her . It was to the point the fl even thought of leaving him for good . As a result they faced many problems that could have been solved through communication due to the ml .
It was also ml’s psycho step mother that made me annoyed cause she was trying to be way too controlling for my liking .
It started out light but then it turned dark when the mother came in the storyline
