From what I’ve seen online, the drama seems to follow the webtoon quite closely. The structure appears to be a mirrored setup starting with a look at her present self before transitioning into her past and the events that shaped her actions.

Her fans aren’t defending her actions they’re clarifying that this is simply how the character was written. I wouldn't expect a sociopath or psychopath to genuinely care about others. They’re beyond emotional connection and in her case, as a sociopath everything she does is self-serving. That’s the reasoning her fans have been pointing out when they use that label.

She would still be sent to jail which I don't think ajin wants for herself. Korean laws very are shitty too 😭

I don't think I will hate her, they introduced her character from the first episode, I want to see her downfall because she is destroying herself while reaching for greater things.

I made a mistake in my comment. I saw some parts of the webtoon posted on Twitter, and it’s not actually foreshadowing it’s more of a mirrored setup. It shows a glimpse of her present self before flashing back to her past and what led to her actions. The writer maybe following the webtoon closely, I haven’t read it at all.
