The subtitles were wrong. Yiwa said she's been with Lom for 13 years, not Marine. She's only known Marine for…
Thank you for clarification on the subtitles. I thought the timeline didn't add up, glad I wasn't crazy.

I could almost see why Marine wouldn't want to start over after 13 years but it's only been two? It makes even less sense that she doesn't have enough self-respect to exit the situation. You've known this chick two years, & you're willing to be treated like a shameful secret for the rest of your life? It's sad. I never said Marine did anything wrong; I said she's heartbreakingly pathetic & should move on to find love with someone who truly deserves her.

Yes, Lom & Yiwa are trash. Yiwa is trash for gaslighting Marine into staying in a relationship that has no future, one in which Marine must always be kept hidden, unacknowledged, living in the shadows while Yiwa goes through the motions of maintaining a marriage & all that entails. Marine has shown, both through body language & occasional comments, that she is not 100% ok with the situation. That she wants to live openly in a loving relationship, one in which she can build a future with her partner. If Marine had any self-respect, she would've left Yiwa the moment she found out about the marriage; if Yiwa had any respect for Marine, she would've let her go.

Lom is trash for the same reason but also for not even bothering to explain the situation to Nuea even though he is aggressively pursuing him, & despite Nuea repeatedly bringing up the fact that Lom is getting married.

Lom & Yiwa, frankly, deserve one another. They are both selfish cowards.

Nuea isn't much better. Not only is Lom getting married, he is Nuea's client. Everything else aside, the lack of professionalism on Nuea's part is ridiculous.

The only person I feel for in this whole mess is Marine, & that's only because I see she's trying to support the person she loves, no matter how detrimental to herself. But I do hope she decides to walk out.

I find the level of open, honest communication between Joke & Zo incredibly refreshing. Yes, they get frustrated & uncertain, like people do, but they ultimately confront their issues directly & work together to find solutions. It makes their conflicts much more engaging, as they aren't rooted in misunderstandings but in the organically evolving nature of their relationship.

I really hope that holds true through the end of the series.

It's been a long time since I've seen such a bad series! No logic, an improvised scenario, and terrible acting…
The soundscape of this series is the worst. I'd so effectively tuned it out that I totally missed Dino had been shot until someone said it directly. The gunshot was just another random noise in a wall of ceaseless random noises.

And coming out of ep.7, I am legitimately wondering if those ghostly whispers & evil laughs in the hotel were just meant to be "funny" audio layering or if Rak was legitimately hearing voices in his head.

Ah yes, P'Dino, the university campus "bad boy" who must be in bed by 10p.

Ep.7 was uncomfortably awkward even for a series this terrible. Neither the characters nor the actors seemed to want to be there. That bridge scene was especially rough. Pepper looked annoyed, & Kong obviously had no idea what he was meant to be feeling or doing in the scene. And the episode's kisses...oof. Either Rak doesn't know how to kiss or Kong really didn't like the physical contact because Dino/Pepper was trying hard & getting barely any response. He was basically using his tongue to pry open Rak/Kong's lips. First time I've ever hoped a BL series DOESN'T give us an NC scene.

If this were a better series, I might've chalked up Rak's reluctance to PTSD from Mek's sexual assault but, honestly, I had forgotten all about that until this episode flashed back. I had flat-out forgotten about Mek; those first episodes are like a whole other show.

On the plus side, I am absolutely fascinated by the hideousness of Rak's wardrobe. It's like the costume designer's personal hate letter to this series.

...what is the plot here? Does it even matter? I miss the bizarreness of the first episodes. It was all total nonsense (and occasionally alarming) but at least it wasn't dull.

Damn it, Thailand, even if you do nothing else right with a BL, you've almost always nailed the sexy. What the Hell was that kiss? I am honestly flabbergasted as to how that was the final cut for that scene. Dead fish kiss so dead even Japanese BLs are side-eyeing it. Pitiful.

Bu Xia, baby, you precious peanut, the only person on that whole campus who doesn't know you're in a relationship is you.

Takeda's presence in this nonsense just makes it more infuriating that we didn't get season two of "OFC". And the Doctor's maturity makes Minato look like even more of a manchild.

How exactly does Minato think Shin can trust in him and their relationship when Minato treats him like an annoying kid, won't show him affection, won't say he likes him, won't share a bed with him, can't name two things he appreciates about him, and doesn't want him telling anybody about them being boyfriends because it's "embarrassing"—and all of this after Shin pursued him with such determination. No shite Shin is insecure, Minato, you have made him that way. And then next week Minato has the nerve to wonder why Shin won't confide in him? Good grief.

And as for Shin—his insecurity is amplifying his control issues. Keeping Minato under lock and key isn't going to fix the fundamental problem that their relationship exists in name only.

This season is really undoing all the good will it built in season one.

What is Nuea doing? Why is Marine putting up with all this? Lom and Yiwa are trash but Nuea isn't any better, letting the groom-to-be paw him, and Marine is just heartbreakingly pathetic. Thirteen years as someone's dirty secret, and planning to live the rest of your life that way? No. I understand it's difficult coming out; been there. But does no one in this thing have ANY self-respect?

Am I even supposed to actually like these people?

At this point, I'm just hoping Marine leaves. She deserves better, even if she doesn't realize it. She deserves a faen who can and will love her openly and wholly. I don't care what happens to the rest of them.

If Namnuea manages to plan a spectacular wedding despite the nonsense games his clients are playing, he should be given a raise & immediately promoted to Vice President.

Please tell me who’s voice Thian heard if you know. It didn’t sound like LonFom. And his reaction was “seriously”…
The consensus seems to be it wasn't Lomfom. It didn't sound like Lomfon to me, & Thian's surprise also suggests it was someone else.

Also, if the translations are correct, it doesn't strike me as the way Lomfon would speak.

Hope that helps!

Oh IQIYI, why must you always make us translate the translations?

Interesting start. I like that Charn is absolute, unapologetic trash with zero redeeming qualities. It should make watching his character journey that much more engaging.

That definitely needed to happen both for Pisaeng's mental health and his well-being and for Kawi to finally open…
Honestly, I just haven't been able to get onboard with the PisaengKawi ship. I find each of the show's characters individually interesting & the story quite engaging but I haven't been able to muster even the slightest excitement about their romance.

Maybe the next few episodes will get me there but, for now, it was just nice seeing Pisaeng find a modicum of self-respect, even if it did take him a decade & half a dozen timelines to do so.

Future Pisaeng finally growing a spine & cutting himself out of Kawi's life was satisfying. It took him a decade but he finally got tired of playing the fool, & made a good choice.

I hope Kawi doesn't let Pisaeng do all the courting going forwars, & puts in equal effort to woo him too.

What was that ending? The series spent the last two episodes hammering home that the soulmate thing doesn't actually matter, that not only can people choose their love but can even shout away the connection, so what does it matter that Thian heard his?

Just give me more DreamNara, if they insist on a second season.

Shin is so pathetically grateful for the smallest crumb of affection from Minato, & is so insecure in their "relationship". That is not a healthy dynamic. I know they'll end up together but it would be nice to see Shin get over his hero-worship & really consider whether Minato is a good partner for him.

I really like Rak and the type of character he is, but I think the actor is falling short. I didn't feel his fear…
Agreed. Kong is turning in an awful performance but I can't tell if it's entirely his fault or sabotage-by-director. I've seen him in other roles, he's capable of emoting. The date scene w/ Dino felt like it was directed by someone else entirely, as Rak showed energy & emotion.

Or maybe it's the wardrobe choices. Rak's costuming is like a Black Hole, sucking all the life around it into its endless abyss of baggy sweaters & shapeless pants...
