Please does anyone know the name of this historical fantasy series, where the female lead leaves her secluded…
Sounds like The Legends.

Title Love in Time
This fell flat for me. A lot of wasted potential with a good start that took too long to develop the story. Would have been a better plot if the episode count was shortened. Worse, the emotional notes didn’t quite hit right. The main leads had good chemistry at moments but it became really forced and I didn’t feel it.

Watched this while it was airing and here I am still unable to move on from this drama. Don’t know how many times I’ve rewatched episodes and looked online for everything I could find about it but dang, I’ve never been quite so obsessed with a drama in all my years of watching. This one just hit me in all the right places. ❤️❤️❤️

I haven’t loved a Cdrama like this in a loooong time. This is right up there in my top 3 favorites and reminds me why I was so in love with the genre I had almost abandoned. Can’t wait for the last episodes!!!

Everything about this drama feels like it was made in the year 2016 or round about. The humor, storyline, acting, cinematography, and insensitive social references to Africa make it all feel dated. I could see this one having more success if it was released then but not so sure now…

I’m really disappointed in this drama. While it is well made and the actors are doing a good job, it is just really missing something. It feels like it’s just going through the motions and not connecting at all. I don’t want to but I’m finding myself very bored and wondering why I should care about these people.

I’ve watched so many Korea and Chinese dramas and this drama is still so special to me unlike any other. It is timeless while still being very progressive. It was progressive when it came out and is still progressive in many ways compared to current dramas.

It has an incredibly realistic, lived in feeling to it where you feel like this crazy out there story could be people in the real world. There is an unique natural physicality all the actors bring to story.

The chemistry between the main couple is some of the best I’ve ever seen, but all the actors and side characters played so well off each other. You can really tell everyone had fun together filming this.
This drama brings me nostalgic feelings. It reminds me of a warm summer of youth. At its core it is a coming of age story and love.

And it’s a message of love is love.

Loved this drama and I usually don’t enjoy sageuk. It’s incredibly forward thinking and honestly highlights real issues women faced during an extremely difficult time. I loved the messages of the importance of choice and being your own authority, even when you’re the most powerless. This is the most women centric, feminist drama I’ve ever seen in all my Korean drama land watching.
I loved Junho too but the true star was the message it meant to convey.
Beautiful and bittersweet.

Favorite drama right now!! Love the folklore, cinematography, OST, actors, and a well written plot. Pacing is spot on and the way the pieces are revealed is similar in skill to Someday or One Day. Thoughtfully executed and enjoyable to watch. Only hate that it’s one episode a week, but at the same time I’m savoring it!
