What I especially loved about the two seasons was this incredible friendship between girls. I feel like many other shows, not just Korean ones, really lack this.
Cuz people like to fetishize sexual orientation of the others. Same do men who read/watch yuri/GL. As for girls, many of them also full of internalized misogyny because of society they live in, so it easier for them to associate themselves with men or to see only them. That's it. That's a whole thing about all of this addictions.
Seems like extremely unpopular opinion but I finished it because of Yoo In Na. She really shines in here. Dong Wook's acting was too cold, although I believe it's just because of his character.
not towards you, but I actually agree that many people are way more critical towards female leads than male leads.…
Oh, it's so so true!! There are still many prejudices against FLs. And also people tend to more rarely notice really strong and interesting ones, while giving all the credits to MLs.
Trailer looks great, actually. Don't think it'll be very scary or gory, more likely sad and suspenseful. Both actresses are very professional, so it's worth watching just because of them.
"The comments on here" are largely expressing the idea that drug use should not be considered a criminal act,…
Very agree. And no one here is saying that it's okay to kill yourself. No criminalizing can stop desperate people from ending their life cuz it's actually a big mental problem, not a kind of crime.
Posters and a trailer look very cute and comforting and I'd love to watch a good slice of life show with such a vibe. But, also, I'm afraid there'll be too much melodrama as it often happens. I'd like to be wrong, though.
i am not sure but i think you want to say that you don't like dramas ending with both of them together?! and it…
For god's sake, there are strong women all around the world. And if they live in such a conservative misogynic society they're even more strong cuz they have to face so many problems and discrimination thoghout their life. To judge about a county only by dramas is not right. And, by the way, it's not Korean people who rate them on this site :D
Uh... the female lead of Stranger, for instance? I wish you hadn't just picked rom coms, 'cause however strong…
I can see your point but since there are a lot of drama fans who enjoy watching mostly romantics it's important to show them some great characters, who they can relate to, cuz this genre is always assosiate with weak and helpless female leads.
And, by the way, it's not Korean people who rate them on this site :D
