But did the message really came across successfully to many viewers? Was it executed well for people to understand…
Yes maybe it wasn't delivered very well; probably because the characters themselves are very confused and don't understand what is happening to them (I prefer to think that way, rather than the director hesitating and debating about the ending and deciding at the last moment not to follow the path of the webtoon...) Nabi was lost the entire drama, the only thing she was sure about was that she liked Jae-Eon, and that it wasn't a good thing. So sometimes it didn't make sense I agree, but in my pov that's because we follow Nabi's thoughts : she tried to get away from him (ep7-8-9) but couldn't, and when she finally could, she didn't want anymore (the final ep)
The ending was unfortunately the most realistic I think. She likes him, but she knows he'll make her suffer, but still, it's hard to say 'no' to someone you're deeply attracted to. It's sometimes impossible, cause it hurts. Like a comment said below, it doesn't mean she'll marry Jae-Eon, it's maybe, probably, just a chapter of her life, in which she decides to love freely, knowing it'll hurt her in the end but doing it, like the teacher said 'spread your wings, love who you want to love'. To enjoy this drama, we must forget morals, it's the harsh reality of life... we don't always make the best decisions for ourselves.
Just finished the drama and I’m so sad now, because I already miss them so much :(( The actors all have an incredible chemistry together and they form a really happy family I LOVE to watch, so I’m impatient to see them again (season 2 yayyyy)
