Xiao Qi is a man is confident in his masculinity and has a healthy relationship with himself. He doesn’t need to act macho or overreact over things. He’s calculated, calm and only uses force when needed. He doesn’t kill without purpose and you can see his humility in the way he relates to his soldiers, Awu, and even his enemies. He carries himself in such a graceful manner and has such a powerful presence. On top of all this he’s a generous lover and knows how to flirt and joke around. I mean how can you not find this man sexy ?!

The actors have real looking faces even though the female lead is astonishingly pretty. In some dramas many of…
RIGHTT?!!! Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with looking pretty, but sometimes I feel like dramas trade quality acting for unrealistic visuals.

Omg I have resulted to watching the raw episodes. I haven’t been this intrigued by a costume drama since nirvana o fire. And don’t get me started on the chemistry between the leads *swoons* I’m glad they casted older actors for this, especially the part of the general. Generals who have been to war are supposed to look rugged and mature not pretty and delicate.

I haven’t started watching the show yet, but the way y’all are battling it out with one another on Twitter and tumblr has me intrigued ?. It’s like team Kim Tan vs team Choi Young Do all over again ?.

idk if it's just me but i think ji-ah fell for lee yeon too quickly/abruptly? at this point, I'm rooting more…
I agree, I think they should have built it up for much longer and let their chemistry grow.
On Tale of the Nine-Tailed Nov 5, 2020
Honestly I can’t get into the romance apsect with our two leads, the chemistry just isn’t there. I tried really hard to try and see it from different angles but honestly it’s just not there. But every other aspect of the drama has been done really well. I love how dark they’ve kept it (they almost lost me with episodes 5/6, but 7 won me back). All the characters are interesting and I think the story is progressing smoothly.
On It's Okay to Not Be Okay Aug 8, 2020
Lol, it’s obvious those who actually watch the drama and have actual constructive criticism and those who skimmed two episodes with the intention of coming here to bash it. I find it amusing.

Friendly reminder that Moon Young isn’t some alternate version of a bad boy or rich arrogant chaebol. Sis has an antisocial personality disorder. And now she’s trying to address it and face her traumas. This is called growth and healing, not the character becoming boring or changing for the sake of the guy. Let’s not reduce this show’s efforts to properly, sensitively , and accurately address mental disorders.

apparently even Koreans are confused about why the drama ratings aren't higher. Apparently its always trending and all the comments are praising the drama on all Korean platforms.

wow, episode 5 was so satisfying, like wow, that was soo good. every good episode makes me scared of the next one because I fear that the quality won't stay the same. But every episode they have proved me wrong.

the only thing i don’t like about this drama is the childhood connection between ML and FL, it’s such a cliche…
i agree with you that the childhood trope is overused, but i think for this particular drama, its actually a key component of the story and is needed to tie everything together. so far i think they've used the trope appropriately and balanced it beautifully.

From comments Ive seen on different platforms, I really feel like people should drop the show now if they already…
you made a very good point, i think the drama is making it clear that her behaviour is problamtic but also a result of a mental disorder. I think it is fans who are romantizing her behaviour, but i also think fans are loving her because it is very rare for the roles to be reversed in kdramas and i guess some people find it refreshing. But you make a very good point that it should not be glorified.

I’m really surprised at some people saying that there’s no chemistry between them. I literally feel shivers…
lollll those people must be blind or have some delusional attachement to kim soo hyun. Their chemistry literally leaks from the screen!
