just watched the 6 episodes version, and I was also curious about why did that "California road" scene…
You have some good points. I think maybe she ultimately becomes a pariah - she's rejected by the public for her scheming even though she used it for good. Whereas those of the royal bloodline were wasting their positions of influence or using it for evil, although they were still accepted by the public due to their social casting. So that could be why she had to live in isolation at the end, to symbolize this rejection and maybe that's her connection to Esmeralda...the stigmatization of being a gypsy. And of course, the reporter (Quasimodo) was also going against the elites for good and suffering that rejection as well. I wish it showed more of the aftermath though.
im sure this has been debated already but study group and both weak hero classes were far superior to this series.…
yeah, but even with good subs, this drama doesn't have the charm and chemistry between characters that those other dramas had. And we're missing a motive. Right now he's just fighting to get out his frustration with his dad...
Thank you. I'm watching this right now and since episode 11 it has been torturous...It's so bad. I thought I was going crazy because everyone is gushing about how good this drama is. I liked Welcome to Samdal-ri more so far. The male lead seems to be the only decent thing about this drama, but even he is a Gary Stu. The female lead is so annoying and cringey and I'm not feeling chemistry between the leads. The other love stories are annoying as well. I'm dreading these last 3 episodes.
i fell sleepy while watching the 1st episode, should I continue...
It's slow until episode 3 and then it gets crazier and crazier from there. You gotta make it to episode 3 and let the characters build. Very good pay off.
but lol totally agree with you on the VIPs !! Hated them! and in general just hated s1 more and more towards the…
You have a lot of good points. Gong Yoo's character was definitely one of the more interesting aspects of season 2. He did a great job. And the actual games are a lot more interesting this time around. It is hard to judge this season because it feels so incomplete, so season 3 can either make it or break it.

He gets covered in blood again?? He did that in The Worst of Evil. There's a scene where he takes a machete to a whole gang and he's completely drenched in blood by the end. The only reason I watched that one was because Ji Chang Wook is amazing with action, but I didn't like the drama itself. This drama sounds similar...
If I have been benevolent, believe me, it was because I know that this drama has many fans. If it were up to me…
Yeah I agree. I thought I was alone with my rating of 1.5/10 but I realized there are a lot of people that know its a badly written drama and was made for PPL. They literally had 3 characters dedicated for product placement ads (the office workers). I think people are just hesitant to voice their opinion because they don't want to get hate since it was so popular. Unfortunately, there's always going to be a ton of fangirls/boys rating dramas 10/10 because their favorite actor is in it. I just have to weed out those reviews myself.
I use this drama if I need a good example of a terrible drama. This one was just promoted well. I think the girls who wish they had a boyfriend with powers are the ones that really like this drama. Also, you're being way too generous with the Acting/Cast score lol they just stare at each other most of the time. I don't like either of the leads. The only good character was the 2nd female lead I think.
whyyyy would dahee give the lottery ticket to gwiju's mother that makes absolutely no sense why wouldn't she just…
I think it's because she genuinely cares about his family and doesn't want to have the appearance of using them for the their powers like everyone else would.
hey guys, tmrw is my first exam and last one in on 13th. I am leaving this comment here so you can recommend me…
You may like School 2015. That drama has one of the scariest bullies I've seen.
Love in Sadness is centered around domestic abuse with a very scary abusive husband. Not the best drama but I can't get it out of my head. It's so scary.
Avengers Social Club is a favorite of mine. It's about a group of middle-aged women who come together to help each other get revenge on certain people. One of them has an abusive husband. This one is a comedy and a lot more light-hearted than the usual revenge dramas.
The Heirs is a classic. I don't like the leads but it has my all-time favorite character, the school bully, played by Kim Woo Bin. It's a fun watch. (I looked through your lists to see what dramas you haven't watched yet)
Why do u guys hate fl ?? Most mls in older kdramas used to approach fl with bad intentions and later they would…
Because they like watching perfect angel FLs with no character development and growth so that they can project themselves onto the character since its pretty much a clean slate.
This is like Moving mixed with Strong Girl Namsoon. Both Moving and this drama even have an overweight character with the power of flight. Anyway, I like the quirkiness of this drama so far and Jang Ki Yong is actually acting. I knew he could do it. I'm hoping this drama is able to hold on to this unique identity and not morph into another cliche romance.
