Filipino-Thai Series LVR

Story seems ok even if their idea of a Filipino indigenous group is archaic and not realistic. Cinematography was good. But the script and the acting were really cringey.

This is a first for me. I have never watched a lesbian or GL series before. I’m surprised at myself that I enjoyed this pilot episode very much.

I’ve watched maybe half of the series in your list. Our ratings are almost the same for those series. You rate them maybe 0.5-1.0 higher than I do :)

I think it’s not only the translation that should be explained but the nuance in the delivery of lines. I think Judah got irritated because Rocky was saying maybe he’s bisexual because he’s not sure of himself. That’s why Judah said bisexuality isn’t just some gray area, thereby affirming Judah’s belief that there’s bisexuality. He wasn’t biphobic, in a way he’s defending bisexuality from people like Rocky who are misusing it because of lack of understanding.

I love this series and I’m enjoying it. But I agree with you on the acting, it needs a bit more work. But they’re newbies, so I’m giving them a pass. The story is quite simple really. It’s not groundbreaking in that sense. But for simple stories like GSP, what I look for is the quality of execution. And GSP, I think, has done it pretty well. There are problematic characters like Judit but maybe that’s the intent of the writer, I don’t know, we’ll see in the coming episodes. I wouldn’t rate it a 10 but I think overall, it’s still a pretty good series.

I’m a bit disappointed with episode 3 :(

I’m still withholding my judgement on this series. Episode 3 tonight. I hope it is better than the first two episodes.

It’s very annoying! There was no announcement when Episode 10.1 will be released.

This series deserves a higher rating than 7.4!

This series has its moments but I just can’t get pass the bad story, cringy script & terrible acting. Aki was just reading his lines with very limited acting range while Miko’s lack of depth was exposed by the dramatic scenes. Among the “big” Pinoy BL series, My Day has the weakest leads when it comes to acting.

I saw on social media the public arguments of some of the cast members and I learned that the actors were not even paid. I don’t think that’s fair. They should at least get something for their effort.

It’s a DIY Youtube series. Quality is generally poor. Check out @Pinoy BL Series’ comments below and decide if it’s worth your while.

I’m still watching this series. Good effort. Because of limited budget, it isn’t as good as other Pinoy BL series, but it’s ok nevertheless. I like its OST.

This show suffers from the same problems of any other DIY series: poor quality in terms of story, acting and production.

Because its a black comedy, its not really realistic, too many exaggerations. I don’t particularly enjoy it but I watch it to find out how they will resolve the conflicts in the show.

This show had its ups and downs but overall, its ok.

I’m excited for Episode 3!

I watched Episode 11. It was a good episode.

Tonight is the night! Season finale!

I hope I’m not wrong by the end of its season but with 2 episodes in, I’m grouping Quaranthings with Gameboys and Hello Stranger as top-tier Pinoy BL series :)
