Filipino-Thai Series LVR

My two cents’ worth, if commenters want to compare, it’s up to them. If you don’t like it then you don’t like it. Don’t let it bother you, it’s not good for your mental health. But others may like it so let’s not judge them. It’s their opinion anyway. Now, can we go back to commenting about HS? But if you don’t like to, that’s also ok. Lol.

Not a good start for the series. The pilot episode was bad.

I dread the day when this series end. I love this series!

The second episode was better than the pilot episode. It shares with the pilot episode both its weakness (not much character backgrounds) and strengths (good handling of the setting, relatable storyline, tasteful handling of nudity & sex scene). But what made this episode better was the acting. Both Migs & Oliver are fine actors. And there’s something about Migs that draws you in. I hope that like the first two episodes, the succeeding episodes will feature experienced actors as well. The series is better off with them as lead actors.

Best BL of 2020!

That was a really sad episode. I can’t get it out of my head! What will happen next? I need the next episode fast!

I watched the pilot episode this morning. It was a good episode. But since each episode is somewhat stand-alone, not much character backgrounds were provided for this episode. Still, even with only under 22 minutes, the episode was able to present a complete story contextualized within the COVID-19 pandemic. The nudity & sex scenes were generally necessary & tasteful. Markki’s acting was just ok while Mike was really good. I plan to watch the next episodes.

I watched the 1st episode of this series and it’s ok but I don’t think I’ll be watching the next episodes. I usually like socially conscious series but this one was just too much. There was no subtlety in handling its politics. It’s in your face politics bordering on being preachy. There were also a lot of stories within the main plot that made it difficult to focus. But hey, if you like highly political series with good actors, this one’s for you.

I heard they’re married. LOL. One TV news anchor mistakenly referred to Elijah Canlas as Elijah Santos & the actors & the fans just rode with it for fun. I can’t wait for Friday!

Fired? More like quit. There were disagreements about payments & reimbursements I think.

Shoot with new actors. Will probably be released end of the year. Yes, winter in other parts of the globe.

I’m excited for this series. When exactly will this be released? I hope they release this in Youtube with Eng Subs. If it’s only on TV, I will not be able to watch it.

I saw all the updates in their Facebook account. There’s an update this morning as well. The production company seems to be a mess. They remind me of small Thai film companies accused of exploiting BL actors in Thailand.

I like this series. Maybe not as much as Gameboys but I like it. Tony & JC still need to improve on their on screen chemistry & they still have 6 episodes to do that.

This miniseries was ok. Not great but not that bad. The two leads were charming enough.

I saw some improvements in the last few episodes but the actors’ acting still feels amateurish. With 2 remaining episodes, I don’t think they will improve much. I’m only interested on how they will end the story.

I watch a lot of BL Series. I think the biggest advantage of Gameboys over other BL Series is their actors. Elijah & Kokoy are great actors, both are believable & relatable. I love Pearl too. Gameboys is also very conscious about the usual (sexist) tropes in BL Series which they try to avoid. I’m excited for the next episode! Cai, please say yes!
