Yeah. That's what I am saying. She herself is a habitual liar. WSG has told that to her so many times that why can't she be honest with him before. When in the illusion, she didn’t want WSG to know the truth that she killed his clan when she was possessed. She was willing to kill his master in the illusion just so he doesn't get to know the truth. Wasn't that in a way selfish? But now when someone else is doing things selflessly, including JL and WSG, she keeps trying to sow discord between them.
However, One thing I can't get past is WWY always finds reasons to doubt Ji Ling. Even when WSG trusts him, she keeps saying things to make him believe that Ji Ling is untrustworthy. I get that she can't come to terms with the fact that it was Lu Wuyi doing all this. But that doesn't mean she has to discredit JL. He is not doing anything for himself. He is only trying to save everyone. I also get that she needs to be cautious but she always gives everyone the benefit of doubt except Ji Ling. It's like she has some grudge against him. I don't understand what's wrong with her. WSG knows that Chi Wen entrusted JL because he is trustworthy. He saw that in the memories. He trusts JL but she continues to be this way. No change at all 🤷♀️
From all the supporting characters, I love Bai Ze the most. He is such a loyal man along with being powerful. He is even gentle when he talks. His power purple lightening is gorgeous. What a delight whenever he is onscreen.
I started watching Chinese dramas since 2018. But, I usually don't watch on-going dramas because I can't wait for episodes everyday. I am more of a binge watcher.
However, still I was compelled to watch this as the trailers pulled me right in. I was willing to be restless while waiting for the new episodes to drop. And until now, I've watched till episode 22. Can't believe how I lasted. Eagerly waiting for the rest of the episodes.
That goes to say that this drama is exceptional. I love everything about this. I'm so invested in these characters. I feel so many emotions watching this.
On a side note, I remembered that the last time I watched any drama while it was airing was My Journey to You and I did the same for Fangs of Fortune.
I wonder if it's because we don't already know the storyline except for the trailers and description. Or if it's because it’s the feeling of anticipation for an original script. Or if it is GJM's directing style in particular that makes me watch it 🤔

No, it looks like she was trying to save Ji Ling all along. In ep 23 trailer, he also mentions that now he understood that she was actually trying to stop him from dying. Not WWY.
Actually, this is JJY’s comeback drama after two years without any projects, so of course fans are excited but…
The fox is absolutely cute and grateful and loyal, even though it was just a wild animal at that time. We can actually feel bad for the fox when it was blind and struggling. Whenever the fox showed up, I would watch those scenes again and again because of HOW CUTE IT IS 😍
Also the comment about peeking out of a hole is nonsense. Some people use their brains on wrong things.
