I know that. However in that BJYX group you can find some people who like Xiao Zhan but the catch is that they can't see him romancing with any actress. They just want to see XZ with WY. So that factor also comes to play here. I am not saying everyone, everywhere are like that, still this point can't be ruled out.

I second this. I know what we are saying might trigger some people. But everyone has the right to have an opinion and has the freedom to express it. Ren Min was a bad bad choice for this Xianxia. People might say her acting speaks more than looks. However, that's not true anymore. She messed up, we can see that, she also knows, she even admitted it. Although I had my reservations because of it, I still watched this drama for Xiao Zhan (for him I would even watch something which is not subtitled yet) and many other actors that I'm familiar with. Alen Feng from The Long Ballad and Wang Ziqi from his recent 2 modern dramas and the Imperial Coroner absolutely had me looking for their acting. However, I still have to mention it that the love story was a disaster from Ren Min's side. I've watched way too many Xianxia's before, I love this genre, so I can say a little that she was not made for it. First time watching her and already disappointed. I condemn anyone talking bad about her looks, but her acting is what we can freely cast our opinion on. Read so much about her and her connections and the latest shade she threw on her own drama while it was still airing, it reflects the poor sense of judgement that she is. This shows you can get something based on your basic acting and backers but maintaining it takes more and more efforts. Some people here keep saying that this platform is becoming Weibo part 2 and are using that as a tool to make others stop talking from what they are actually feeling. Yes, there are Xiao Zhan antis who are rating this drama 1 star and the fans are balancing it and also defending him from them, I support it. But this doesn't give right to anyone to accuse people as his antis just because they genuinely have negative opinions about certain aspects of the drama. I hope everyone respects each other's opinion and doesn't try to change our view on the obvious blunder that the female lead of this drama has created. Yes we are somewhat dissatisfied with the ending but we also can see it was a poor casting choice for the female lead. She failed to interpret Zhu Yan's love for Shi Ying, instead through her acting she made us believe she has feelings for Yuan. No matter how much she cried in Episode 35, it was contradicting. I know the fans here want to over-all support the drama and justify Ren Min, but enough is enough. From the start of the drama, we fans have defended her enough and given her benefit of doubt as a newbie to Xianxia but she failed it badly and spoilt the mood of the drama. Will rate this drama in some time for only Xiao Zhan and for everyone else, but definitely not for her. And the person above, if she's doing crazy good for you, enjoy it and keep rewatching. But like you have your opinions, we also have ours and we stand by it. Just a heads-up, Don't insult us by branding us as an anti because we are not. I so want to agree with you. She invested so much feelings in both of them. She should have actually distinguished between love for a friend and love for a lover. When Yuan died, she behaved as if her lover was being killed so it's obvious that Shi Ying would think she loves him. She always went against Shi Ying and always supported Yuan. She would rather trust and side with Yuan than doing so with Shi Ying. Yuan was good but he never trusted SY and was not honest even if SY was willing to work around the matter. Yuan also used Zhu Yan's trust in him to hide things which were dangerous and it became more of exploitation. I agree you gotta save your friend so you'll try all possible ways but admitting that you love your friend in front of the person you love is a complete no no for me. I was so disappointed in ZY.
Overall I feel like even though there seemed to be love, it still was disappointing and the script writer and director spoiled it even more by giving such a crappy ending. What a waste !
