After episode 34 and before the BTS starts from 35, there is 34.5 which is the special episode. That one is considered the continuation and final ending.
OMG !!! I'm so glad Li Lun made a comeback even if it was for a shorter duration. This time he willingly sacrificed himself for ZYZ and for the Wilderness. He finally lived up to the vow that he would protect the Wilderness until his death. Happy that he worked along with ZYC and accomplished it. Li Lun, you will be remembered 😊❤️
You have to watch episode 34.5 to watch the final ending. It is indicated clearly that ZYZ will get revived. ZYC smiles when he looks at the malicious energy being reactivated again. And also his sword reacts to it like it would always glow when ZYZ was around. So it's an indication of ZYZ coming back to life even though not clearly shown.

If that is what he was aiming for, then it was a poor decision made by him. Doesn't he know season 2 is a rare phenomenon in C-drama world and also if by chance there is a possibility then the cast 95% of the time won't be available. For the second question, Xue Chongzi practices Burial Heart Sutra, which makes him have his childhood, teenage and adulthood all in 4 years. His memories are erased after 4 years. It's like a being reborn again. He will need to get to know everyone again. Meaning every 4 years, he will go back to being a child and become an adult within 4 years and again growing up. The cycle continues.

Finally Gong Ziyu and Yun Weishan - Sad Ending (They actually had a happy and satisfactory ending but the scriptwriter/director spoilt it by adding a last anti-climatic scene. YWS gets her twin sister's letter, so she goes to meet her alone but that was a trap set by Wufeng to capture her. No one knows what happens to her thereon as she doesn't return. And GZY is left waiting for her and in tears realizing she may not come back or is probably dead.)
