Would this be a hopeless watch for someone who isn’t a cat person?
I would say give it a try as long as you do not actively dislike cats. It is definitely very much a show about cats, but the show has more to offer than just cats. Even if there is sort of a cat filter on everything (not literally but only barely), and First's and Khaotung's characters are intentionally very cat coded (like - the fact that they're named Tiger and Lynx isn't for nothing).
Not sure if that is a Gagaoolala specific thing, but there episode 4 says that it's gonna be released tomorrow, not today, even though the mdl calendar says otherwise? I am confused 🤔
https://www.filmmakers.co.kr/actorCasting/27021334 Apparently they are looking for a child actor for Wu Ju, so…
Okay yeah, that's super weird. Post production probably? But I suppose with Wuju it's just best to treat it as cancelled. And *if* they actually still jump it on us some time later down the line, it would at least still be a nice surprise (although tbh I could imagine it's then much more of a hassle given that that Jeff's and Barcode's respective's artist management isn't with BoC anymore, and I have no clue if that would cause any issues for the show distribution. Especially as I have no clue how any show promo would work under that condition. (Although realistically thinking about it I would guess that Barcode might have contractual clauses regarding a potential release of the show, and Jeff is his own boss, so who knows.
Definetly the GMMTV one will film first. HE script is not ready and Jeff will start filming My Chef in Crime in…
Yeah, that. On Happy Ending the production process might be slower but we at least know that with the pre-script meetings it is in pre-production. Regarding KMR we most likely won't know anything until workshops happen at the earlierst (if someone involved posts about it) or costume fittings (which is usually relatively closely before filming starts). Unless of course someone of the involved people will give us any heads ups about for when the show is planned, but from my experience that's something more likely to happen with some of the longer established branded couples and less the newcomers.
Copied from a Thai Bl Stan on Twitter- International fans don't understand Kiang Mangkorn, saying that the plot…
Dunno, over on tumblr the international fk fans are very happy with it. Sure we don't get all the cultural implications, but we're here to learn. And honestly, the trailer just looks and feels amazing.
Looks like the calendar entries for the show are currently misaligned. At least according to WeTV what's airing this week is Ep 7 plus the Fast Track for Ep 8, while the calendar currently says Ep 8-9. 🤔
I don’t understand why some people here are already dragging Abo Desire. Abo Desire opened the doors for omegaverse…
Well. People dragged Pit Babe's ass the second Desire was announced. Was that deserved? No. Is it deserved to drag Desire now? No. Honestly, people are gonna talk. None of the shows gets better or worse by that. I feel we're living much better looking at this with a two cakes perspective, and if people need to drag a show to feel better about theirs, that's their loss.
Jeff said yesterday at the Red Giant EP Listening Party that Happy Ending is coming, that it is close and that there is no need to worry.
He also very strongly implicated that Wuju Bakery is not gonna come anymore (quotes from the translations I can find are that he was told by staff not to talk about it anymore and to watch something else instead).
I would not assume that anything is secret code there. If they say it's pre-script meetings, it's pre-script meetings.I…
Yeah, I suppose that is valid. My trust in the project is coming mostly from my trust in Jeff to not drop projects that he's heading, plus I am willing to wait a bit longer if it means getting a quality product (but that too goes back to me trusting Jeff that he is going to make sure that this project is going to happen). I think he wouldn't have mentioned HE as "we have Happy Ending now" (or whatever the exact quote was) at one of his recent concerts when asked about WB, if there would be any doubt about HE happening, or HE being expected to take 3 more years or so to come out.
Okay, so Jeff’s new drama My Chef in Crime will start to film in February and will air in late 2026. That must…

I would also assume that My Chef in Crime has not popped up suddenly for Jeff. Yes, we have only just learned about it, but very likely it has already been part of scheduling his work for quite a while, and he has juggled multiple projects in the past as well. Thai dramas tend to film for something up to two months. No clue if that will be the case for My Chef in Crime too, but even if, and even if Happy Ending will only start filming after that, it can still easily come out in 2026. Plus given that Barcode is also under contract with GMMTV, Jeff has to take his schedules into consideration too, as well as everyone else involved in the project. Because all of these reasons, I highly doubt that Happy Ending is just going to be pushed around indefinitely and be prioritized down compared to other projects. All of this is of course just guesses. But for now we really can't do more than keep an eye on the monthly Studio on Saturn schedule.
WDYM they are already filming secretly, so they are not updated of the cast at the social media platforms to filming…

Also, I would consider Wuju Bakery lost media for now. To my understanding the issue is that it's not getting released because of unclear issues with the other involved company. But the Wuju Bakery delay doesn't have any effect on Happy Ending. Wuju Bakery was BOC, Happy Ending is Studio on Saturn.
Hope that means the rights situation is fully sorted out!

Can't wait to watch it ♥️
