the leads started dating in ep.15. there is no evil SML/SFL , but a slight love triangle & it's FL's friend. he was forcefully interfering between the leads , but our great FL can't see this simple thing.

The story was good , the leads were good, but I didn't like Ireine Dia's character.

For me FL's friends PanPan & Zhou Yi were little annoying, but Zhou Yi was most annoying.

FL's personality changes completely just putting some makeup & lipstick, which doesn't make any sense.

The C guy is arrogant, but after watching Zhu Yi, C was much better in one although he may be arrogant. When people were gossiping that FL & C were dating, C made FL to clarify in front of every one that he was tutoring her not dating.
But Zhu Yi on the other was forcefully interfering between the ML & FL , but FL doesn't do anything to stop him , because Zhu Yi is her friend & that over smart & idiot friend has more importance than ML. 😒🤦‍♂️

I liked the ML, SML, SFL & FL [ the Liang character, not the Dia character }. I didn't understand just putting some makeup & lipstick FL's changes instantly into an arrogant & egoistic character within a second. In the drama the writer & director showed that she may be suffering from slip-personality disorder, which was not the case.

I found FL's friends PanPan & Zhou Yi annoying, but Zhou Yi most annoying.

Regarding the ending, by introducing FL's mother character in the last 2 eps, resulted in a flop ending.

Some people liked it, some people didn't liked it that much & specially the FL's character DIA,
for me it's an average drama & yes I also didn't like the DIA character.

As per synopsis FL wanted to be a singer, but she was scared of her mother & couldn't sing. But later when she came to different city & started living with her aunt, she decided she will sing online & she kept her online name DIA. But in the drama it is completely opposite.

In the drama the writer & director showed that FL has split-personality problem, although she doesn't have that problem in the drama, but whoever will watch it first time & have knowledge about spilt-personality problem, I am 100% sure they will think that FL has spilt-personality disorder.

FL's friends Zhu Yi & PanPan were very annoying for me, but specially Zhu Yi.

FL's mother is a teacher & living in a modern society, but only becoming a teacher is a good profession, but being a singer is bad. I think her character shouldn't have been introduced in the drama, but is was needed than it should have been introduced from the beginning or maybe in around ep10-12, then it would have been good. But introducing in last 2 eps. resulted in a flop ending.

For me it's 7/10.

Yes, I agree. If it would have been physical sword it would have been more appealing. I think may be for this reason this season 6 has low ratings than season 4. But to be frank, I liked the story of this season 6 more than the season 4.

Yes, sword is important, but in season 6 it was not portraited nicely, but in season 4 it portraited nicely because sword is the main concept of this stories.

The stories of both the seasons are independent stories with some goods points as well as some bad points.

This season 4 & season 6 are independent story's but still I will give my views since both drama's are from same series & aired at the same time.

1} In this season 4 the ML came down from the moutain with FL find the truth of the sword & ML's identity & in season 4 there was only 1 ep regarding FL story & over & they were doing like treasure hunting, solving puzzles & trying to find the past of other the second leads & till ep.30 the story was focused on the other seconds leads.

But in season 6, the story was focused on finding their origins of both main leads & along with the story's of the second leads little by little.

2} In this season 4 the story was on the concept on swords & everything related to swords as per the name of the drama.

But in season 6 the story concept is not on swords.

This are my views, others may have other views.

As per tags, Lee Ji Han ( ML ) is the gay male lead or the Lee Do Han ( SML ) is the gay male lead ??

I liked the drama , like the characters , their dialogues , but I don't know why although I liked the drama, but if would only have been romance & youth drama without the LIFE genre story concept I would have liked more.

In many places I found Ying Zi disappointing.

1. pretending to be in relationship with Zhuang Yuan by giving up her feeling which is fixed in dramas so that Jiang Yi can go to UK & pursue his dream , although he knew at that time that they were Ying Zi is pretending.

2. when Ying Zi found out Jiang Yi is back & after they were tagging along nicely, Ding Ye's character is introduced. Ding Ye may be her idol, but it doesn't mean she should get's involved in his personal life, complete his bucket list & stood up Jiang Yi for whom she has feelings from childhood & she was so happy when Jiang Yi came back, just for an idol, just because he has a bucket life & she just came with a thought that just by her own that, since Ding Ye has a bucket list which means he has terminal illness & he will die.

They are my viewpoints on the drama, others may have different opinion on the points I mentioned.

in first 2-3 eps. I found it little distracting , after that it was not distracting . took 2-3 eps. to adjust.

in the last paragraph you came to the right track instead of the 2nd last paragraph, because if the ML & FL were shooting drama in the drama, they should have been in the set by wearing the costumes, instead they were in their casual dress.
And when they crossed each other in front of the set, they crossed like strangers & it didn't look like they have seen each other ever before.

why they crossed in front of the set for the first? - I think in the background the shooting may be going on of this drama The Little Red Matchmaker only & in modern world they are shooting a drama which is just a fictional thing only, but the MLs & FLs are forever to destined to be together in human world or as immortals millions of years ago & in human world their first encounter was in front of the set.

I am not sure my logic is correct, it may be wrong also.

yes i also hate open ending, instead if it's a sad ending i am still okay with that.

the staff filming in background is not coincidence, it's a part of the script.
