ir's average drama for me .. i liked season 1 than season2 ..
when the monk died & at the first moment when You Chen An objected & didn't want the body to autopsied , every one could tell he is the main villain in the drama ..
in all eps. Jin Yu & Chu Chu always talking about cases - cases - autopsy 24/7 .. even if Jin Yu is prince & Chu Chu is imperial coroner , still you will have time to spend nice romantic time with each other . talk some thing normal with other , other than cases ..
if you have seen Coroner's Dairy , it's a slow romance drama . the ML & FL were spending time together ( not too much or too less . perfect amount ) & spending cases together . but in imperial coroner season 2 it was not up to my expectations ..
there are somethings in the drama that didn't make sense to me ..
maybe if the story would have been like when Xiao Zhi Yu & Hu Xiu started dating , if he would have told her about his real identity & all the truth instead of not telling it to her , maybe the breakup around 1.5 or 2 ep. would not have happened
dramas are fictional , but in a modern drama there should be realism .. in modern drama , if the chairman , ceo , director etc. of a MNC co. when they get are legally divorced & gets in a relationship after that , how it has anything to do with public , the company employees or the board members of the company .. Seo Ji U is legally divorced & after that she gets in relationship with Lee Gyeong Do . so how it becomes a scandal & how public opinion matters in this
nice drama . i am confused with Rong Shan Bao character .. she tells Lu Jiang Lai that she doesn't like when someone cheats , deceives or lie to her .. but on the other hand Rong family is the most powerful family & she kept madam Yang hidden in her place for so many years & no one in the family knew that which resulted in the person who was wrongly accused got prison & the person got mad in the end in the prison & the Yang family kept their crimes hidden & Rong Shan Bao played as ally whether it was by choice or not choice .. so when Lu Jiang Lai gave justice to the victim who was wrongly accused of murder which involved the Rong family also , then it becomes betrayal for the Rong family .. secondly , Rong Shan Bao's character is cold , confident , but it confused me her love relationship with Lu Jiang Lai .. she loves him , but every time i felt like , if Lu Jiang Lai leaves her suddenly one day or she leaves her it wouldn't have bothered her .. maybe if her grandmother tells her to get married to this person , she might do it .. it's what i felt .. from the starting of the story it will look the Rong sister's are actually bad characters , but slowly it changed for me .. the main problem was the grandmother & because of her so called philosophies & her character other sister's didn't liked Rong Shan Bao

if the destiny is fixed & can't be changed , than what is the use of going to the past to relieve the sufferings & heartbreaks & see the person who you love very much is sacrificing himself again

one thing .. when Hong Ye was telling Xiao Yao about the 3 ancient demons , he said the 3 are them are more powerful then him & he may be not able to defeat them , but when their actual fighting time came they died so quickly .. where as Hong Ye was able to fight back the puppet poison & defeat Dreamshard immortal , which i think is more powerful than the demons ..
for me hou minghao set new standard like his three demon character is so different like Zhu Yan , hong ye , and…
i am not saying Hou Ming Hao is not good , his acting is very good . what i am saying that when ML is a demon & when Hou Ming Hao plays the demon character i don't get the ruthless demon vibe . it's my thought .. you have your own thoughts & i respect that ..

she didn't even wanted to go back 10,000 years ago , but the 3 ancient demons don't like Hong Ye & want to kill him . so to find out what actually happened , so that she can find out the reason & solve their problem , that's why she went back ..
for me it's in between average & very good/excellent drama .. rating wise maybe 7.8/10 ..
Hou Ming Hao is a good actor , but the vibe of demon lord i feels missing .. in dramas in which ML is the demon , then i prefer Arthur Chen , Ao Rui Peng , Dylan Wang , Ryan Cheng .. maybe if Wang Duo [ Bing Zhu ] would have been the main ML than it's demon vibe would have different . but out of the names i have mentioned Arthur Chen is now currently my no. 1 preferred ML in demon main ML dramas after watching When Destiny Brings the Demon ..
coming to the story it's same type of happy ending where the ML will sacrifice himself & they will meet again in last 3-4 minutes before ending , but in this drama the style is different ..
in flashback it was shown that Ning An killed Hong Ye , & in the present time when Xiao Yao went back in time to get back Hong Ye's power she became Ning An & Xiao Yao knew that Ning An killed Hong Ye & still in the end Hong Ye still died & Xiao Yao couldn't prevent it even knowing what had happened & actually it was Xiao Yao as Ning An who killed Hong Ye because she was controlled using magic & she couldn't stop it which was shown in flashback but it still benefited her because she got his drop of tear & he was able to get back power in present time ..
when Xiao Yao went back 10000 years ago , at that time Hong Ye was human & Xiao Yao was a demon & still Xiao Yao during that time she had to stab & made him sleep for 5000 years . so in the end Xiao Yao learnt a technique where she can go specific time in the past as per her choice . so when she want back 1000 years ago she knew Hong Ye died in the past still she couldn't change that . when she went 10000 years ago she doesn't have any memory of that time but still she had to stab & make him sleep for 5000 years in the end . so in the finale episode when she went back in time , when she had to kill Hong Ye 2 times & couldn't change the timeline , so going back in the past in the finale how she can change the timeline & stop Hong Ye from sacrificing himself in the end ..
