I feel like every revenge drama I’ve tried has sucked for me lol. but to be fair I’ve just kinda stumbled upon a few. maybe if I search for the top ones I’ll get to the good stuff haha.

it really slowed things down and also made her plans quite confusing. which I guess might be good cause she probably was confused herself but still it’s been hard to trudge through for me partially cause of this.

yeah maybe! I don’t think that was the case for me here though. cause let me tell ya- I connected with the characters. could go in depth about how I feel about all of them, how the show portrayed them, and how things turned out lol. I’ve also watched similar shows and felt connections/attachment. i actually like the fast pacing lol.

I just think it landed differently for me, but it’s always cool to see how
respond to react to a show. gives a different perspective.

If i hadn’t looked at these comments, I wouldn’t know that people took a deeper meaning/message away from it. so that’s really the main different between my watch of it and others’ watch.

he’s such a waste of space but I think that’s what makes things even more heightened because he obviously has no backbone with anybody but is still trying to be devious and deceptive. nobody pays him any mind fr. then he gets caught up with Ra El and thinks he’s god’s gift to earth 😂😂

lmaoooo this happened at least 3 times in the episode I just watched so this is killing me 😭😂

honestly I expected everyone but Ra El to lose their shit in this episode with everything coming to light. He went offff, and considering his position, that was hella risky.

also this fight between the in-laws and their entourages 😭😭😭 that was just absurd. But hey everything is falling apart anyway so I guess it’s par for the course.

yes this!!!! definitely what stood out for me. I know it’s different from the standard, so I think that’s why the reviews are so polarized. if you like/appreciate this sort of thing, you’ll enjoy (maybe even love) it. If you like the standard levels of romance that’s super passionate and explosive, you will absolutely not like it. I couldn’t understand how many bad reviews there were after watching the first few episodes but as I think about it more after finishing, I think it’s just either a show that’s for you or it’s not. But that’s not always being acknowledged in most of the negative ones.

fair but some people just aren’t that affectionate (I know bc I’m included lol). I think her connection was more based on the similarities they had vs like the chemistry.
