I really don't like this show. I mean I hate all Uke Seme tropes so it was pretty predictable that this wouldn't fit my taste. But I do understand the people who are annoyed with the negative comments. personally, I never understand people who hate a show but somehow still manage to watch every single episode either way,(I dropped this after ep 2 and you couldn't pay me enough money to continue) and people are allowed to criticize a drama but damn it gets hella annoying and repetitive if they do so every other damn day regurgitating the same opinion with different words (like yes you hate it, we know...can't you move on?). Like just leave a scathing review and a couple of comments and move on, why you gotta hover like some dark cloud and shit? I mean you can, but why? There are better things to watch or rewatch. Bad buddy for example or Not me.. or heck even enchante. And I can guarantee toxicity in bL is NEVER going away cause that's what the genre is built upon, have you read any danmei lately? Riddled with rape victim becomes lover trope. The source material itself is toxic. Why you surprised? Just let people enjoy what they enjoy, no one believes same sex relationships work the way it's portrayed in bl anyway.

l do think it's done on purpose, they actively look for a strong male type to pair up with a short uke type. Cause some fujoshis find it cute, and usually the height difference is extreme, I'd say forehead on the nose or lower. It's pretty tropey, it feels like they are trying to fit one character into the role of a female love interest....arg I just can't

Yes this is true and I've noticed this trope is prevalent in Japanese BLs and now Korean ones. Thank heavens Thai bls are slowly fazing this trope out (2gether, lovely writer, kinnporsche, dear doctor, tharntype, dark blue kiss and many others) am tired of missing out on good stories cause I can't deal with this whole tall manly guy and small cute dude.
