Straight dramas never get judged based on the number of kisses or intimate scenes, I am an avid Kdramas watcher and although we are always happy when the actors kiss, it never makes or breaks a drama.

Lol Bingo! one could pick up on Wai's impulsiveness from the start, his selfishness and hot temper was evident from the get go so I expected him to react in a major negative way, also in this setting of gay utopia, it's wasn't a problem at all that two guys were dating (as most had a problem with the forced "outing") but rather that Pran was dating a supposed enemy, I mean yeah what wai did was shitty, but not because he outed their sexuality.

Ever miss Patpran so much that you copy paste a great fanfic (from other fandoms) from ao3 onto a word document and just..control H the protagonists names and replace them with PatPran? Or Ohmnanon? No? It's just me then.

Not really, even on novel updates you get the fluffiest novels with literally not an ounce of smut tagged yaoi. I think the term is just associated to hardcore smut cause most works under the tag tend to feature such aspects but in general it's just a word to describe work that features b x b content (not to be confused with LGBT content)
