I agree with you completely. People on Twitter are complaining about how kinn looks now as opposed to how he looked in the teaser, Porche had a tattoo now he seems to lack any ink, little things that really do not validate hating on a good show like this one.

Lol this, this is so true, I look back at the dramas I used to watch when I was an innocent babe who had no idea what MDL was and most of these dramas have a rating lower than 8.0 and I enjoyed them thoroughly back then, now I've morphed into this unrecognizable judgy person who is so picky about what to watch she can't even watch anything anymore.

How ironic that the die hard fans who followed this show's progression from it's announcement to it's airing date are the ones that are iffy about it now that it's airing.. meanwhile people like me who didn't give a flying flip about kinnporsche (I actually vowed on this very page that I'd never watch it cause of the lack of female cast) are enjoying it so much, maybe cause the original die hard fans spent the last two years on vain imaginings about how it would all go down. These people painted a whole picture of how this show would look and feel if it were ever to air but as we all know, expectation is often far from reality. the show is good, really good but some people are failing to let go of the original idea (presented in the first "teaser") and thus judge the final output based on notions that should have been buried once it was announced they would change a few things. They want the kinnporsche they fell inlove with when they watched the 1st trailer， they have been looking forward to that for a long time and now that it's finally here, it's (to them) the complete opposite of how they thought it would be. There is nothing wrong with the execution of this show, nothing wrong with the comedy or pacing，the production team could not have done any better when making this series. I for one have never seen a bl done this well . It's just...well people wanted TOXIC and it's not delivering. I guess.

Nope, while some girls like the uke seme trope, you'd be surprised most of us don't. Just look at the most successful pairs in BL industry, although some (annoyingly) take the role of uke /damsel in distress (tine), they have a tall masculine look to them, Brightwin, Ohmnanon, taynew (even though new tries (and fails) really hard to be the cute uke), Maxtul, untamed, the guys from addicted so on and so forth. Most of us would never even dream about self inserting ourself in a bl pair. So yes there are SOME girls who like the whole "masculine guy with fragile femme boy" but they sure as water don't account for majority in bl fandom
