I haven't had the chance to add 'Flower of Evil' yet, but I'ma have to watch the others before putting them on the list. Thank you so much for the recommendations <3
I get the feeling that this is just as far as these actresses are willing to go, which is fine. But then maybe,…
to set one thing straight, it's not only actresses, there are guys who dead fish as well. I can't see them being cast if they refused to do proper kiss scenes. pretty much every drama has a kiss scene or two, it's such a basic, expected thing in acting that refusing to do one would be quite a ridiculous notion. Even in theatre teens are taught to expect at least one kiss scene in any romantic production, and often to confirm someone's dedication and willingness to a role they include an outlandish question like "if need be, would you be willing to shave your eyebrows." Unless you're some acting god/goddess, refusing to do the basics in acting will get you passed up for a different actor. Based on the fact that it's the same every time, I think it's just what they think unexpected kiss reactions look like, hence the 'in their face' angle.
Unless you have ironic sense of dark humor, I wouldn't consider this a comedy. however since I had that sense of humor there were plenty of times I laughed.
To be honest she's not a very good actress in general. She's one of the few people on my 'only watch in very specific circumstances', such circumstances usually being co-starring with an actor on my 'watch no matter what, even if the project seems terrible'.
I agree with almost everything you said, especially the episode lengths (a reason I stick to C-dramas nowadays,…
I like back hugs when they are affectionate, not clingy. I have personal space issues and someone invading that after I've said I'm leaving is a definite No-no, and one way ticket to my self defense kicking in. Something I've seen on the subway when it's packed is the guy holding onto one of the rungs and the girl back hugging him 'for support'. one of the cutest things.
I thought static kisses were called 'dead fishing' because there are specific actors/actresses (lee min ho, park shin hye, go ara etc) who do it no matter the character, and there are certain people (jo jung suk, park bo young <3, etc) who I've never seen dead fish...
If you're using Dark/Back to The Future's rules to judge the time travel, then yeah, indeed, it's bad, very bad…
I'm not up to date yet but I fail to see how this resembles stargate's time travel. SG-1 had two versions of time travel in the show. the first one being destiny, what happened always will. and the second being that they could change things which made causality issues.
I'd say it's really 7 out of 10, I'm quite shocked to see how high the rating has gone up for this show. Maybe…
Actually I liked it for the pacing, the consistent themes, the solid acting from the entire cast, the music, the cinematography, and cause Jung Seo Yoon is adorable. I relate to the main character, obviously on a smaller scale than being suspected of murder, so there were a lot of times where I understood his actions a lot better than the other characters.
From what I've seen though a lot of people were upset cause the story was much different from their expectations, which isn't unheard of on MDL. They really need better descriptions.
