My point was highlighting the fact that their is no way he would have been able to live as baek hee seong for very long without having the prints on record changed, because so many necessary legal processes (such as reinstating a drivers license and ID) require it.

I love this show, but this framing plot point is bad. while it makes sense for them to frame him, the writers seem to have forgotten that DHS's fingerprints are in fact in the system, but under Hee Seong's name. Without fingerprints you can do hardly anything here. Within the last 14 years he would have had to reissue his driver's license, his ID card, his passport if he ever went abroad, and signed a bunch of legal documents all requiring his fingerprints.

A severe loss of blood can cause cerebral hypoxia, that is a lack of oxygen to the brain. Depending on when he received treatment such a thing can cause brain damage and induce a coma. His dad wasn't there and his mom was in shock, so I'm willing to bet it was a bit before he was properly attended to.

He already did his service but he was a reserve soldier, meaning he could be called to work without much notice, thus exposing he's in a coma.

I made a post a while back keeping track of all the crimes of the 'normal' people. Let's just say the only people in the main cast ineligible for jail time are det. Im and glasses.

TBH I only started it cause I'm waiting for another drama and I need something light to watch weekly that won't get in the way of homework... this is living up to my low expectations.

I watch quite a few time travel ones and so far this is the second worst handling of the subject I've seen so far... first of which being hit the top.

The very first words of the drama set the tone for me, I knew this wasn't gonna be a serious time travel one so I've managed to avoid nitpicking.
When a science fiction show (especially k-drama) opens with the 'advanced science looks like magic' line, I know they aren't going to even try to make it scientifically accurate.

Also, Joo Won actually looks like he could be Kim Hee Sun and Kwak Shi Yang's son XD

We were at 300-400 daily for a bit, but now it's back under 200 and dropping. so things will stable out for a bit until the next group of people forget why social distancing is in place.
