We can clearly see the evidence she loved and probably still loves the SML throughout both timelines. You don't go all giggly and in a daze every time you're around someone without having any feelings for him. We can see it in her eyes, her actions and her words. Then, immediately after she reluctantly pushes the SML away, she is almost immediately in love with the ML. Why didn't she show any attraction to him previously? And she still didn't like him even after realising he's a good man. It's the timing and her previous actions that aren't convincing me. You were the one who mentioned that Asian drama loves the whole first love scenarios, I'm just confirming what you said in regards to this drama as it goes against the norm for a fantasy romance Cdrama.

Then why don't viewers speak the truth about the relationship between the FL and SML and stop misleading others who haven't watched it? They're trying to sugar coat it to make it out that the ML and FL are destined for each other with no feelings for anyone else except each other. Also this isn't reality, It is an Asian drama, infact It's a historical, romance, fantasy drama, therefore it's expected to have the typical you're my one and only first love destined with you type scenario, or at least having the leads with feelings for each other for the majority of the drama instead of at the end after realising you can't be with the one you love so you have to settle for the next best thing.
Ah, now I understand why the FL didn't end up with the SML. Everyone said she didn't really like the SML, that's bs. She left him because she felt guilty about what happened with him and his mom in both timelines. She really loves him but feels so awful with her involvement surrounding the tragedy and her concerns for his safety if she continues to be with him. Now I see that, unfortunately, it's one of those dramas where the FL only ends up with the ML because she can't be with the SML. It's like I can't be with the SML, so I'll just settle for the ML. She even said it herself in front of the ML: "In this world, there is no one better than him." I understand it's not a romcom, but why do they make the story like this, at least make us believe the FL has feelings for the ML, and not just a forced pairing because they're the leads.

Ok, I'll read it completely once I'm finished. But I'm finding it hard to believe the leads can be together, i mean sincerely be together. Like right now, on episode 21, she's with Zhang Zhe, spending the night alone with him, and she's enjoying every moment of it even though they're surrounded by rebels. Also, they're holding hands once again, but this time gazing lovingly into each others eyes. To be honest, it's hard watching them together because i don't think I've come across a FL with this much feelings for the SML. If i didn't know any better, i could believe Zhang Zhe is the ML. They're doing what only ML's and FL's should be doing together. I understand what you're saying about the process for the leads to be together, and i might be wrong but i think this process along with the FL's ongoing love for Zhang Zhe will taint my experience of this drama.

I didn't read all of it because I'm on episode 20, and i don't want spoilers. But from what i read, it says she liked him from the beginning. I can't see it, but maybe it's revealed later on, but all i see right now is her giggling every time she's with Zhang Zhe. Right now, i can't see her with any feelings for the ML. No scenes gave me the impression she has any type of feelings for him except her acknowledgement that he might not be evil.
Regarding the love triangle between ML, FL, and Zhang Zhe. I find this a rare type of love triangle because your typical love triangles in Cdramas usually have the FL without feelings for the SML. They will spend a lot of time together, sometimes even more than the ML, but it's always unrequited. In fact, i find this love triangle more annoying even if she doesn't have many interactions with the SML. For the simple reason that she has feelings for the SML for most of the drama. This is why I'm seeing some comments saying the relationship between the leads seems forced and that she only ends up with him because he's the ML. I guarantee if the FL didn't have feelings for the SML, or at least not for most of the drama, then we wouldn't see many people questioning the relationship between the leads.

Well, I'm not sure about the end game as I'm only on episode 20, but i can see clearly she has feelings for Zhang Zhe. Therefore, she couldn't have loved the ML from the beginning.
I gave it an 8.5, so usually dramas i rate 8.5 or higher are really good. If i was to rate SOKP as of this moment on episode 18, I'd give it a 6.5. It's just all scheming and politics. And what's worse now is the FL is even more fearful of the ML as she's just discovered the ML convinced the emperor to exile the Yan family. She even witnessed him in a rage. So all those episodes of patiently waiting for their slow progress is all down the drown. One step forward, two steps back.

Like it's already long enough for the leads to still not be together, now we're back at square one and have to put up with all that nonsense again😒 oh well, i guess i have to wait for the last couple of episodes to see some romance between the leads.
