I didn't really feel the connection between the two characters. That made me lose interest in them, along with the limited and late romance. I've definitely seen Bai Lu in better romance dramas.

If romance is important to you, then this one will frustrate you. It deals more with scheming and politics, then the romance happens right at the end.

I tried, and thanks for the recommendation. I mostly like the dramas you recommend as we like similar dramas, but this one didn't really do it for me.

I had to drop this. The story was good, but the romance let me down. I made it to episode 33, and i know that's when their romance begins, but all that happened before just tainted my experience between their characters. It dragged out for far too long that by the time we started seeing something between them, i was like, yeah, i don't care anymore. The standard time frame for characters to have feelings for each other is usually halfway through the drama, and sometimes earlier, depending on the story. In this drama, it happened far too late, and slowly, i lost interest. I love watching Bai Lu's dramas, but this one missed the mark for romance.

Ah, i thought this drama was more about her adapting to life off the island and romance. But i see it's mainly just about music.

No love triangles? I find that hard to believe. Maybe you're overlooking one because it may be insignificant? It just seems strange not to have any love triangles, considering it's a romance Cdrama. No SML's pursuing the FL?

I almost finished episode 2, and i love how the ML is already saving the damsel in distress when she was locked in her room. Then, he stands his ground against her family. I love it.

On episode 2, and I'm loving her change of attitude. Bring on her revenge.

I thought so. I've just started episode 2, and in episode one, there was a scene where the ML seemed to care for the FL when he grabbed her. So I'm guessing maybe he's had feelings for her from the beginning even before she married the SML? In any case, it looks really good so far and fast-paced.

Is the ML in love with the FL from the beginning, or is it a hate to love relationship?

Because it's not the culture, it's the skill set and particular knowledge. It's like saying Italy is better at soccer than America. That's not offensive, it's just stating facts. Once again, I'm not saying the Japanese aren't good at dramas. I just mentioned Kdramas and Cdramas because they produce similar content. Therefore, one of them can attempt to pick it up. It's been done before. Just look at Boys Over over Flowers, Meteor Garden, and F4 Thailand, they've all been compared to each other. Is that offensive?

Ah, so episode 31 is when the show really starts.

The description looks really good, and it has my Queen of course. So the ML was already in love with her. I wonder if he was around her during those 10 years she was married? Maybe doing things to support her without her knowledge, possibly helping her in past as well?

I also love Japanese dramas and their own particular style. I never said all Japanese dramas would be better as a Kdrama or Cdrama. Just this one. I believe this one missed the mark. Therefore, i believe a Kdrama or Cdrama could do a better job. There are probably some Kdramas and Cdramas that would be better off as a Japanese drama. There's no need to be put off by my comment. It's just my opinion of this drama.

Ah, ok, you already know my definition of a love triangle. You must have come across one of my comments? After he betrayed her, was he still pursuing her? Did the FL give him any chance to weasel his way back in?
