That's smart! I wanted to watch UF to cry my eyes out but your plan also sounds good
I couldn't complete it because it was boring with no action and hardly any romance. But what's worse is it's an unhappy ending. But the reason why i said One and Only is because there's another drama called Forever and Ever. It's meant to be like a season 2, but it's not. It's a completely different drama. But it has the same leads set in the future, present time. It's their reincarnation. I haven't watched it, but apparently, it's full of romance with a happy ending. I suppose we get what we didn't get in One and Only.

I would say a slightly bittersweet end but happy for the main leads and no love triangle.
I am watching it. I'm currently on episode 4. I still believe the love triangle exists even though the FL only likes the ML because it doesn't change the fact that there are still two male characters pursuing the FL. Funny enough, i even googled a love triangle to prove my point. Because honestly, there wouldn't be many love triangles in Asian drama with your definition. Because most of them, the ML and FL never like the SML and SFL. They treat them as friends.
