I've noticed in the comments some are describing the ML as "toxic"😒 I find that appalling and disgusting. She gained so much from being around him. He funded her company when in crisis, he protected her, cared for her, taught her how to successfully run a company. At her weakest and most vulnerable, he carefully protected her dignity and guided her to grow step by step. She became a better person because of him. She will never find another man who will treat her as well as he does. He's only been in love with her and no one else. Infact if anything, it's the FL and SML who's toxic. She treats him like trash, takes advantage of him, uses him, then discards him. She also gets the privilege to take interest in multiple men. As soon as she realises she can't have the SML, she moves on to the ML. I find it funny that it's ok for women in dramas to date multiple men, but when a ML even just looks at another woman, then all hell breaks loose and words like toxic are thrown at him. This has to change, women have changed, they're not the traditional woman anymore, yet women still want a traditional man. I feel sorry for the ML in this drama, but I also applaud him for being true to his feelings and himself. He's shown intelligence, integrity, and intensity, but most of all loyalty.

I was hoping for romance. So what kind of romantic interactions do we get from the leads?

She's good, but I'd say the crown goes to Park Min Young.

It doesn't have to be filled with rainbows and lollipops with fairies and cupids. Even slight romance is fine.

Yes, a good drama doesn't need it, but a great drama does.

The reason Cdramas are like this is because the majority of viewers are women. While watching, they view themselves as the FL, having a caring, protective, loyal ML that only loves her, while the FL enjoys the attention of many male characters. But as soon as we see a ML showing interest in multiple women, then all hell breaks loose, and suddenly, the word "toxic" gets thrown around.

Toxic😂 I suppose we're now just going to throw around the word "toxic" to any character that protects, supports, and cares for another character even if he has to force it because she's too naive, gullible, and doesn't know any better. Maybe he wouldn't have to be "toxic" if she showed some maturity, common sense, and respect.

I just finished episode 3, and the way the FL is treating the ML is disgusting. After everything he's done for her, protecting her from behind the scenes, and guiding her to better herself, and she treats him like that, smh.

Edit: I feel sorry for the ML. He's always caring, protective, and helpful towards the FL, but she continues to treat him like trash. I almost hope he finds someone better, but i know she'll eventually wake up.

Edit: This whole thing about her thinking the male character is gay just because he's good friends with another male character is stupid. How do they come to these stupid assumptions? It just drags the time before the romance for far too long.
