There was romance, not much, but it was there. But this is predominantly a revenge drama, which is great, so there doesn't need to be much romance. What others are saying is there shouldn't have been romance, but i disagree. The little romance we got was just enough for the revenge story. We didn't need a romance filled with rainbows and lollipops with fairies and cupids. This isn't a rom-com, but the romance was important, infact it was necessary.

"There are also no annoying ex-girlfriends nor ex-boyfriends." I love how you included no ex boyfriends. Most would just mention the ex girlfriends because they wouldn't mind ex boyfriends. It's just more eye candy for them no matter if they cause misunderstandings or even if it's toxic. Looking out also for the male audiences. Love it. This drama looks good, I'll start watching this. One thing you didn't mention was intimacy and skinship. Do we see any of these moments?

I understand, but the romance is there, and it had an impact on the story. If it wasn't for the romance, we may have had a different outcome. So we have to accept that the romance was necessary for this story regardless of whether it was minor. You mentioned earlier, "But at the end of the day, this is a revenge story, not a romance story." That's right, it is about revenge, but that doesn't mean the little romance we got wasn't needed. It was infact important, because it was intertwined in the whole series. Romance in a revenge drama doesn't mean there has to be rainbows and lollipops with fairies and cupids. That's not the purpose of romance in revenge dramas. You're referring to rom-coms. That's different. And yes, you're right. Not everyone needs to be in a relationship to be happy, but that's in general. The leads relationship in this drama was indeed important and necessary for their happiness. If you remember, the FL was about to commit suicide after getting revenge, but then saved when she realised the ML was in pain. For this drama, specifically, romance and their relationship were needed.
